Wyndham Corfu Acharavi, a beachfront resort that has officially opened its doors on the northern shores of Corfu. Nestled just steps from the charming village of Acharavi and fronting a stunning 7-kilometer stretch of sandy beach along the Ionian Sea, the resort marks Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ first namesake property on the island.

Surrounded by lush greenery, shimmering beaches, and Venetian-influenced architecture, the hotel debuts in collaboration with Mercan Group, one of Europe’s leading hotel developers.

“The Emerald Isle of Corfu stands among the Mediterranean’s most exceptional year-round destinations, attracting millions of visitors every year. Situated on one of the island’s longest beaches, Wyndham Corfu Acharavi marks an exciting milestone, representing our first namesake hotel on the island. As our portfolio expands to 15 hotels across Greece and Cyprus, our collaboration with Mercan Group only deepens our presence in the Greek market, where we continue to see tremendous potential.” -Vassilis Themelidis, Regional Director, South & East Europe, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

    An Ideal Island Retreat

Located on the northern coast in one of the island’s most charming coastal settings, the Wyndham Corfu Acharavi enjoys a prime seafront position along a 7-kilometer sandy beach with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea and spectacular sunsets, making it a perfect choice for holidaymakers year-round. The hotel features 163 stylishly designed rooms, suites and apartments with plans to add just over 100 additional premium rooms in the coming months.

Guests can enjoy a fully rounded stay with diverse dining options, including Theos Main Restaurant with live-cooking and buffet service, and Olive Specialty Restaurant, offering a modern interpretation of a traditional Greek taverna. Additional cafés and snack bars serve both pool and beachfront areas, ensuring all-day dining and refreshments.

Wellbeing is at the core of the experience, with a full-service spa featuring a sauna, as well as treatment rooms and relaxation spaces. The resort also offers a fully equipped gym, two outdoor swimming pools, a children’s pool, a tennis court and leisure facilities for guests of all ages. Additional amenities include private parking and a mini market offering local products.

Among other features, Wyndham Corfu Acharavi offers rooms with private plunge pools, a children’s playground and access to nearby activities such as cycling, sea excursions and hiking trails. Its prime location, just a short walk from Acharavi’s center and beachfront dining venues, allows guests to enjoy both tranquility and authentic local experiences. The island benefits from excellent air and sea connections to neighboring islands and mainland Greece, making it both a standalone destination and a gateway to the Ionian.

“Wyndham Corfu Acharavi signifies not only our entry into the Greek hospitality market but also the start of our collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Corfu, with its rich cultural heritage and exceptional natural environment, represents an ideal location to bring our vision to life with plans to add another 100 premium rooms to the property. As the summer seasons get longer, we invite travellers to discover the Wyndham Corfu Acharavi for their next Greek escape.” – Theodoros Kioutsoukis, President of Mercan Greece
