The unveiling event, held earlier this week, was attended by Geoff Ballotti, President & CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, alongside hotel owner Chirag Maroo and his family.

Udaipur, recently ranked as the second-best city in the world and the top city in Asia by a renowned magazine, continues to attract visitors from across India and abroad. The city welcomed over two million tourists last year, reinforcing its position as a prominent travel destination. The opening of Wyndham Grand Fatehsagar Lake adds to the city’s expanding portfolio of luxury accommodations catering to both domestic and international visitors.
Hotel Features and Infrastructure
Located near Fateh Sagar Lake, the hotel spans 9.5 acres and offers 140 rooms. The property includes multiple dining options and recreational facilities. It is also positioned to serve as a venue for events, featuring one of the region’s largest banquet halls, a convention center, and an amphitheater with a seating capacity of 240. Additionally, the Vintage Lawn provides space for large-scale weddings and corporate gatherings.
Expansion of Wyndham’s Presence in India
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has been expanding its footprint in India, where it currently operates more than 65 properties across various market segments. The launch of Wyndham Grand Fatehsagar Lake marks the company’s latest addition to its upscale offerings in the region.
The hotel is expected to open to the public later this year. With its entry into Udaipur, Wyndham further strengthens its presence in one of India’s most visited cultural and heritage tourism destinations.
