That familiarity with a well-known Mumbai watering hole begins right at the wooden arches that greet you as you turn the corner into Indiranagar’s newest gastropub. Woodside Inn speaks instantly to those seeking the city’s classic pub charm, the comforting hum of conversation, the hiss of a pint being poured, and the promise of a meal that doesn’t need an occasion or a dress code. With 14 beers on tap, classic freezer-door cocktails, and a food menu that’s equal parts hearty and honest, Woodside Inn’s Bengaluru outpost is built for the city’s kind of good time: unfussy, warm, and quietly confident.
At Woodside Inn, the beers are cold, the fries are hot, and the music hits that sweet spot, lively enough to move to, mellow enough to talk over.

“Bengaluru is the OG pub capital of India. We’re not here to lead the community, just to be part of it,” said Co-Founder, Pankil Shah. That sentiment shapes the new address. The idea isn’t to transplant a Mumbai formula, but to tune into Bengaluru’s pulse, its love for craft beer, easy-going neighbourhood spaces, and bars that age well with the city.
The Indiranagar outpost carries the warmth of its Mumbai siblings, but feels distinctly Bengaluru in spirit. Twenty bespoke frames across the interiors pay homage to the city’s legendary pubs, from The Pub to Nasa, Purple Haze to Black Cadillac, a quiet nod to the culture Woodside Inn now joins.
Spread across 2,800 sq. ft. over two floors with a balcony extension, the space features light wood tones, a hand-laid interlocking floor, communal tables, and comfortable seating. Large arched bay windows overlook a stately rain tree, while a relaxed soundtrack (pop, disco, and a touch of rock curated by co-founder Sumit Gambhir) ties it all together with an easy familiarity.
The Bengaluru outlet introduces a charcoal-fired live grill, bringing smoky, elemental flavours to dishes like Grilled Harissa Chicken Skewers and Citrus Paprika Chicken, cooked over glowing embers for natural char and rustic warmth.
Beer, naturally, takes centre stage. Fourteen taps pour a curated selection from four standout Bengaluru breweries, Toit, Geist, Red Rhino and Mannheim, alongside evergreen favourites like Kingfisher and Heineken. Expect local lagers, stouts, and seasonal ales that reflect the city’s brewery-first culture.
The bar also introduces Woodside Inn’s signature freezer-door cocktails: perfected classics such as the Martini, Negroni, Vesper, and Old Fashioned, served at precisely minus five degrees Celsius. The method ensures each drink is chilled without dilution, balanced, crisp, and timeless. Some of the House Mixes include the Watermelon & Kaffir Lime Fizz, Fresh Grape & Mandarin Twist, Coconut Lemongrass Margarita, and Tokyo Twist whisky highball.
Speaking about the food, Co-founder Sumit Gambhir says, “In true Woodside Inn fashion, the menu celebrates comfort food that’s refined without losing its soul. Expect signature burgers, robust bar plates, and wholesome mains that speak the language of pub fare, done right.”
Woodside Inn’s iconic Beer & Burger Festival, one of India’s longest-running F&B traditions, also comes to Bengaluru, promising a fresh chapter for the pairing the brand is best known for. Expect refined comfort dishes inspired by their “third place” philosophy: elevated pastas and grilled meats. The menu spans bar nibbles, such as Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders, to small plates, including Crispy Fried Potato Skins with Wasabi Mayo and Twice-Whipped Ricotta with Hot Honey. Heartier options include Slow-Roasted Belgian Pork Belly Bites, thin-crust pizzas, and signature burgers, like the Double Cheddar Tenderloin Burger. Refined mains feature Trio Mushroom Risotto, Steak Frites, and Signature Grilled Rawas with Lemon Caper Beurre Blanc, with desserts like Flourless Belgian Chocolate Torte.
