    White Water Rafting Returns in Uttarakhand

    The adventure tourism sports and activities have resumed in the state of Uttarakhand from Saturday 26th September , a day after the state Government have declared to remove all restrictions to tourists entry into state.

    The white water rafting has always been one of the most popular adventure activities in this part of the country drawing thousands of visitors from Delhi, Punjab and other parts during the tourist season. According to the source from the River rafting Association of Rishikesh there have already been more than 400 bookings for the weekend after the news of bans on tourism being lifted.

    As per the report from a national daily, the president of the Rafting Association of Rishikesh, Mr. Dinesh Bhatt has assured the travelers that all precautions regarding the Covid 19 restrictions have been taken into considerations. There are new rules on number of people to take the ride at a time, social distancing, compulsory wearing of masks etc.
