Heralding 2023 on a joyous note, V&RO Hospitality, India’s fastest-growing hospitality chain, won big honours at the latest ‘Restaurant Awards 2023’ Bengaluru Edition with Taki Taki and Mirage winning multiple awards and CEO & Co-Founder Dawn Thomas being recognised as the Young Restaurateur Of The Year 2023. V&RO’s popular Japanese Restaurant – Taki Taki was recognised as the Best Foreign Cuisine Stand–Alone/Chain Restaurant of the Year (Pan Asian/Chinese/Italian/Mexican/American). Their crown jewel brand, Mirage, was also recognised as the Best Gastro-Pub/Restro-Bar With Outstanding Ambience And Interiors Awards.
Recognised as one of Asia’s youngest talents in the hospitality sector, Dawn Thomas, 30, has been pivotal in V&RO Hospitality’s rise in a short span of time. With Dawn’s leadership and expertise, V&RO Hospitality was able to acquire F&B brands like Fava, Cafe Noir, Plan B, Caperberry, and One Night in Bangkok amidst the pandemic. Additionally, they ventured into cloud kitchen brands such as Burger & Beyond and Holy Doh to adjust to the new world of dining. This hospitality chain has successfully raised $3 million in a mix of debt and equity funding, a Series A funding led by CreedCap Asia.
