Wine in India is having a moment and Viva La Vino (VLV) is bringing the celebration to a city near you. India’s first pan-India travelling wine festival, is returning for Season 3, bringing its wine, food, music and lifestyle experience to seven cities – Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Goa and Kolkata – between September 2026 and January 2027. The season will feature 100+ International and Indian wines, gourmet food and lifestyle experiences, live entertainment and the debut of the Grand Cru Lounge in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi.

The 2026–27 season is expected to bring together approximately 1,800–2,000+ guests across the seven-city tour, offering a walk-around format where guests can taste and discover wines, interact with participating brands, explore food and wine pairings, and experience a mix of artisan cheese, chocolate, gourmet food, music and entertainment. This season marks an expansion of the VLV experience, with an increased focus on wine discovery, premium experiences and community-led programming, alongside the festival’s first-ever merchandise collection and an expanded partner ecosystem.

Founded by sommeliers Devati Mallick and Gargi Kothari, Viva La Vino was created to make wine more approachable, social and accessible to a new generation of Indian consumers, while continuing to offer discovery and exploration for seasoned wine enthusiasts. Drawing on their experience across wine, consulting, experiences and community building, the duo continues to shape VLV as a space where wine discovery is relaxed, engaging and rooted in connection.

At the heart of Viva La Vino is the opportunity to taste and discover 100+ International and Indian, with all core wine tastings included in the festival ticket. Guests can explore wines across different producers, regions, grape varieties and styles, while also having the opportunity to learn from and interact with seasoned wine professionals and sommeliers. Beyond wine, the festival brings together artisanal cheese, chocolate, homegrown F&B brands, live music and entertainment.

This season, Viva La Vino takes the festival experience up a notch with the introduction of the Grand Cru Lounge in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi, a limited access space designed for guests who want to linger a little longer and discover more. The lounge will bring together premium wines from Fratelli and Chenab Alcobev, available by the glass at special festival pricing, alongside exclusive Coravin pours showcased by Chenab Alcobev, offering guests the opportunity to experience premium wines in a whole new way. Adding to the experience, one lucky guest will also have the chance to take home a Coravin set worth ₹30,000. The elevated setting will also include an indulgent dinner buffet, extended festival hours, while guests continue to enjoy full access to the main VLV festival.

The festival soundtrack gets an upgrade too, with Wine & Vinyl bringing together two of the things that pair beautifully: great wine and great music. Across cities, DJs will spin all-evening vinyl sets  Sindhi Curry in Delhi and Mumbai and Sunil Hubli and Arjun Hora in Bengaluru  creating a laid-back, groove-led atmosphere that carries the festival energy well into the evening. After all, wine and vinyl make for a pairing that brings together the best of both worlds.

The Season 3 partner ecosystem brings together an extensive mix of brands. The wine line-up includes Fratelli Wines, Chenab AlcoBev, Grover Zampa, Anggels Share, Penfolds, Rad Elan, Monika Alcobev, Tannins India, Sula, Myne Wines, Good Drop, Aristol, Vbev & Aspri, My Wines & Spirits, Fides, United Wines (NSL), Sonarys, Tetrad, Oz Wines / Pete’s Pure, Dry Drnks, Edenvale, Hema Connoisseurs, HS Oberoi Spirits, High Spirits and Ursa Beverages. Alongside the wines, guests can explore artisanal cheese from, The Cheese Collective, Melchior, Farmstead Bazpur, Meraki Cheese and Kase, craft chocolates from Pascati, Darkins and Noel, and condiments from Small Batch Co. the exclusive condiments partner showcasing their range of gourmet cooking and dipping sauces across all seven cities. Lucaris Glassware joins as the festival’s glassware partner, with all wines served in its crystal glassware. Partner participation may vary by city.

“Our goal with Viva La Vino has always been to bring people closer to wine and make it feel more accessible, approachable and fun. We want wine to be part of a lifestyle, something people can discover, enjoy and share, whether they are taking their first sip or already know what they love. There should always be something new to explore, learn and enjoy.” says Devati Mallick, Sommelier & Founder, Drink With D and Co-Founder, Viva La Vino.

Gargi Kothari, Sommelier & Founder, Magic Cellars and Co-Founder, Viva La Vino, adds, “Every season of Viva La Vino has taught us something new about how people want to experience wine. We’ve seen a growing appetite for discovery, better conversations around wine and experiences that go beyond simply tasting a glass. Season 3 is our response to that evolution from expanding to seven cities to introducing the Grand Cru Lounge, we’re creating more opportunities for guests to explore, engage and find their own way into the world of wine.”

With its third season, Viva La Vino continues to build a contemporary wine culture in India – one that is approachable, social and rooted in discovery. More than a wine tasting, the festival brings together Wine + Food + Music + Culture + Community, creating a space where both wine enthusiasts and the wine-curious can come together, explore and celebrate wine.
