Mumbai, November 2024: On the 30th of November, the Yacht Club side of AER at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai’s rooftop, renowned for its chic nautical décor and sweeping city views, will be taken over by Keith Motsi, the celebrated Head Bartender and Graham Kimura, Assistant Head Bartender of VIRTÙ at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. This one-night-only event brings together the best of Tokyo’s cocktail craft with the glamour of Mumbai’s nightlife, as Motsi showcases the innovative blends that have earned VIRTÙ its celebrated ranks as #42 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and #11 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024.
Recently unveiled at a grand ceremony in Madrid, VIRTÙ’s position on the global bar scene has been solidified through its unique Paris-meets-Tokyo cocktail style. Under Motsi’s charismatic leadership and Kimura’s fun persona, the bar has become a beacon for cocktail lovers, blending Japanese ingredients with French sophistication to create a drinking experience that’s both artful and unforgettable.
AER, which has also garnered its share of accolades in 2024, including the Times Food & Nightlife Award for Best Ambience and recognition as one of the ‘Great Bars of the World’ by Icons of Drinks, is the ideal backdrop for VIRTÙ’s distinctive approach. Inspired by the interiors of luxury yachts, AER’s nautical ambiance and breathtaking views of Mumbai’s skyline will set the stage for an evening of creative cocktails, crafted with Motsi’s signature flair.
While Keith Motsi is known for his ability to gauge the vibe of each evening and masterfully combines elegance with a touch of playful charm often surprising guests with his impromptu dance moves on the busiest nights, ex-flair bartender Graham Kimura has a voice loud enough to cut through any room and lives by the motto: ‘If it’s not fun, why do it?’. As Motsi and Kimura take the helm at AER, guests will get to explore an exclusive selection of his celebrated cocktails, each inspired by the fusion of Japanese and French influences that define VIRTÙ’s allure.
