Vietravel organises special events “Vietnam – A Splendid Destination” and “Vietnam’s Night” at Embassy
(New Delhi – November 23rd, 2022) Following the series of successful tourism promotion events in Thailand and Middle Eastern countries in early November 2022, Vietravel – Vietnam’s Largest Aviation and Tourism Corporation continue to cooperate with the Vietnamese Embassy in India to organize the seminar “Vietnam – A Splendid Destination” and the event “Vietnam’s Night” on November 23rd, 2022. These activities aim to showcase and promote tourism between the two countries in the last season of 2022 to 2023.
The “Vietnam – A Splendid Destination” seminar took place on 23rd, 2022 at the Embassy of Vietnam in New Delhi (EP-7A, Chandragupta Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021). Attending the seminar were the participation of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai (Ambassador of Vietnam in India) and more than 120 delegates, guests are leaders of the Embassy of Vietnam in India, tourism partners, agencies, and media – press coverage between the two countries.
On behalf of Vietravel Corporation, there was Mr. Tran Doan The Duy – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel, and CEO of Vietravel Holidays. Furthermore, there was the participation of Heads of the Inbound Department and key staff of the company. The highlight of the conference revolved around the presentation to introduce and promote the beauty of the famous destinations and the friendliness of local people in Vietnam.
H.E. Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai suggested that it was about time for Indian tourists to visit Viet Nam and explore the thousand-year cultural linkage between the two countries, especially the Cham culture, and the uniqueness of Vietnam’s natural scene with many UNESCO-recognized sites. With less than 5-hour direct flights, it has never been so easy for Indians to travel to Vietnam.
The Inbound Department Heads introduced a full system of unique travel services lines for the Indian market for the peak season of the end of this year onwards. Vietravel also signed the MOU with the company’s 02 key partners for the two-way beneficial cooperation between inbound and outbound tourism of the two countries Vietnam – India. On the evening of the same day, the “Vietnam’s Night” event within the framework of the 77th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2nd, 1945 – September 2nd, 2022) will take place at the Headquarters of Vietnam Embassy in New Delhi. Delegates and guests will have the opportunity to experience traditional cuisines prepared by culinary artisans from the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA). In particular, the event will feature a performance of Ao Dai, a traditional Vietnamese music concert imbued with a warm and hospitable spirit so that attendees could feel more clearly the vibrant colors in Vietnamese cuisine and culture.
Mr. Tran Doan The Duy – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Corp, and CEO of Vietravel Holidays, and other key staff of the Inbound Department visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India. On this occasion, the delegation discussed the future activities of Vietravel, at the same time introducing new services and exchanging new opportunities for cooperation and potential tourism business between Vietnam and India.
Meanwhile, India is a rising destination that Vietnamese tourists choose for interesting activities such as pilgrimage, health care, meditation, and yoga. Vietravel believes that season-end promotion activities this year will create a solid foundation to promote bilateral tourism between Vietnam and India, creating a strong opportunity for increasing the number of tourists traveling between the two countries. The success of Vietravel has been proven by bringing many tourist groups by charter flight to India from 2018 – 2020 and most recently in February this year.
