According to Mr. Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, the first-ever BMW X3 M40i xDrive takes the already sporty and modern BMW X3 to new heights by incorporating the engineering expertise of BMW M. This powerful interpretation of the BMW X3 embodies M performance, boasting impressive engine power, refined handling, and a design crafted by BMW M.

The exterior design of the BMW X3 M40i emphasizes both sportiness and the characteristic “X-ness” of the X3 model range. Notable exterior features include the specific BMW M kidney grille with M double grille bars in high-gloss black and an M logo, adaptive LED headlights with Matrix function, M Shadow Line lights with a dark tint, and aerodynamically optimized M exterior mirrors in high-gloss black. The M High Gloss Shadow Line extends to the window graphics, roof rails, and bars of the BMW kidney grille. The vehicle rides on 20-inch M light alloy wheels with double-spoke 699M design, complemented by M Sport brakes with red calipers.

Inside the cabin, the BMW X3 M40i provides exceptional comfort, functionality, and a modern ambiance. The driver and front passenger can enjoy a premium sporty flair, with features such as M interior trim finishers in Carbon Fibre, an M leather steering wheel with multifunction and contrast stitching in M colors, and exclusive functions like electrical seat adjustment with memory function and exterior mirror package. With this impressive powertrain, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 4.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 250 km/hr. The eight-speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission ensures smooth and seamless gear shifts, complemented by steering wheel paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function, and Automatic differential brakes (ADB) with electronic differential locks.

The intelligent all-wheel drive technology, BMW xDrive, monitors driving situations and ensures optimal traction, agility, and vehicle stability. The standard M Sport differential enhances traction and cornering, while the Adaptive M suspension offers a balance between comfort and sportiness. The Variable Sport Steering provides precise and responsive handling, and the M Sport brakes deliver excellent braking performance.

In terms of technology, the BMW X3 M40i offers innovative features such as BMW Gesture Control, Wireless Apple CarPlay® / Android Auto compatibility, BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a high-resolution 12.3-inch instrument cluster and control display, BMW Head-Up display, inductive Wireless Charging for mobile phones, Parking Assistant Plus with 360-camera, and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with 16 speakers.

BMW Efficient Dynamics technologies, including an 8-speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission, Auto Start-Stop, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Active Air Stream Kidney Grille, and Electronic Power Steering, enhance performance and fuel efficiency.
