The Westin Goa announces the appointment of Chef Pankaj Saini as its new Executive Chef. With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings his expertise in Italian and world cuisine, bringing together global trends and local flavours.

Chef Saini began his culinary journey in 2009 and has since worked with some of the most prestigious hospitality brands across India and the Middle East. Over the years, he has trained under celebrated chefs, refining his craft through diverse global influences. Rooted in his upbringing in New Delhi, Chef Saini’s culinary philosophy is deeply inspired by his parent’s passion for farming and home-style cooking. This connection to fresh, seasonal produce continues to shape his approach in the kitchen today.

At The Westin Goa, Chef Saini envisions transforming the resort into a leading culinary destination that brings the brand’s signature ‘Eat Well’ philosophy to life. His focus lies in promoting wellness through thoughtfully curated menus featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Each of the resort’s dining venues will offer distinct yet complementary experiences, all designed to nourish and delight.

Commenting on his new role, Chef Saini said: “I am thrilled to join The Westin Goa, a property that embodies wellness and creativity. I look forward to collaborating with my team and offer exceptional dining experiences that celebrate both innovation and local authenticity.”

Chef Saini’s management mantra is “Lead by example, empower through trust, and inspire through passion” which aligns seamlessly with The Westin Goa’s values. Under his leadership, the resort is set to enter a new era of culinary excellence.
