    Koregaon Park has just become home to a groundbreaking new concept—The Third Place. Marking the debut of Pune’s first dedicated wine bar, this innovative space offers much more than just food and drinks. It’s a community-driven haven designed to foster connection, creativity, and comfort, blending soulful cuisine, craft wines, slow-brewed coffee, fashion, and art under one roof.

    The brainchild of Kunal Mhaske, Managing Director of Grandeur Hotels Pvt. Ltd., The Third Place is envisioned as more than just another café or bar. With over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mhaske has reimagined the Western concept of a “third place”—a space beyond home and work where people can unwind, connect, and feel at home. “We aim to create a feeling that makes you want to return,” says Mhaske. “It’s about curated menus, slow-sipping coffee experiences, and stores rooted in craftsmanship.”

    What sets The Third Place apart is its holistic approach to dining and lifestyle. The venue features SOIL Coffee, a cozy nook serving slow-brewed coffees reminiscent of home; a Sommelier-led Wine Bar celebrating natural and pure wines; and a Pizza Station dishing out wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas made with 72-hour slow-fermented dough and premium aged cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano. Standout pizzas include Farmacy, Quattro Formaggi, and Meat Overload, alongside Panuozzo (pizza sandwiches) such as Pesto Chicken and BLT/HLT.

    Adding to the charm are unique concept corners like Altrove by Shreya Mantri and Style Mati by Fatima K. Punjabi, offering slow-shopping experiences through fashion and décor. Mati’s earthy, gender-neutral designs beautifully complement the venue’s sustainable aesthetic, which incorporates refurbished furniture, recycled materials, and indoor plants.

    Chef Toshan Salgaonkar curates an all-day menu featuring soulful European cuisine with dishes like Fresh Pear Salad, Chorizo (Chilly Fried Pork), Roasted Root Vegetables, and Beets and Burrata. The thoughtful blend of quality, authenticity, and craftsmanship ensures every bite is memorable.

    Designed in collaboration with interior stylist Kajal Patel, the space exudes warmth and sustainability. Ample daylight, private corners, and communal counters create an inviting atmosphere for conversations over coffee, wine, or pizza. Visitors might walk in for a meal and leave having explored handcrafted fashion, papier-mâché décor, or artisanal goods.

    Located at 101, Jewel Tower, Lane 5, Koregaon Park, The Third Place is open daily from 8 AM to 10:45 PM, with dedicated breakfast, lunch, and dinner timings.
