    Bangalore, September 18, 2024: The Lotus Oriental introducing “A Symphony of Flavors” which will highlight the bold, rich flavors of Sichuan cuisine. It will be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The dishes will showcase the best of Sichuan’s culinary traditions, crafted for discerning palates.

    Known for its distinctive balance of pungency, spiciness and umami, Sichuan cuisine hails from the southwestern province of China and is famed for its use of Málà wei a combination of Sichuan peppercorns (ma) and dried chilies (la), creating a taste experience that is both fiery and numbing, yet deeply satisfying. The Lotus Oriental is bringing this fiery magic of Sichuan cuisine to India.

    Sichuan by The Lotus Oriental offers a culinary journey with a selection of meticulously crafted five-course meals. For vegetarians, the menu boasts of delights of Wood Ear Mushroom Soup, Pan-Fried Mock Meat Bao, and classic Mapo Tofu. The non-vegetarian menu features Xi-Hu Prawn Soup, Crispy Fried Fish with Sichuan Pepper, and the fiery Devil XO Chicken.

    The Lotus Oriental is an Asian specialty restaurant nestled beside the infinite sparkling pool and the lush greenery of Central Park, transforming dining into a multi-sensory experience. Whether one is a lover of spice or an enthusiast of fine Asian cuisine, this experience promises to be a gastronomic symphony like no other.
