The Leela Hyderabad in collaboration with CONOSH announced an exclusive Chef Pop-Up on 19th and 20th September 2025, featuring the celebrated Norway-based Chef Andrea Selvaggini. Marking his first-ever appearance in India, Chef Selvaggini will present an extraordinary culinary showcase in Hyderabad, offering guests a one-of-its-kind experience that blends his distinctive European sensibilities with the warmth of Indian hospitality. This special two-day engagement promises to be a rare opportunity for gourmands to witness the artistry of a Michelin-starred chef in an intimate setting.

Hailing from Tarquinia, near Rome, Chef Andrea Selvaggini has carved an inspiring path across global fine dining, with formative stints in Italy, Spain alongside Quique Dacosta, and Mexico before making Norway his base. At just 29, he helms Restaurant Savage in Oslo which, under his leadership, was awarded a Michelin Star within seven months of opening and making him the first Italian chef in Norway to lead a restaurant to this recognition. Chef Andrea Selvaggini brings to India, his globally acclaimed signatures including Nettle Pasta with spring cassoulet and fermented white asparagus, the delicately composed “Zucchini Flower” with saffron and elderflower emulsion, and the indulgent Smoked Duck Royale with fermented koji and burnt roses – each dish a testament to his philosophy of precision, seasonality, and storytelling on the plate.

Chef Andrea Selvaggini sharing his excitement about his maiden India visit said, “Bringing my cuisine to India for the first time is incredibly special. At Raen-The Chef’s Studio, I hope to create moments that go beyond taste and experiences that reflect my journey, my philosophy, and the joy of storytelling through food. Hyderabad’s energy and curiosity make it the perfect place to share this chapter.”

Neha Malik and Vaibhav Bahl, Co-founders, Conosh, expressed their thoughts about the event, “We are incredibly honoured to host Chef Andrea Selvaggini for his debut in India. His innovative approach to fine dining and deep commitment to seasonal, story-driven cuisine align perfectly with Conosh’s vision of bringing global culinary excellence to Indian audiences. Partnering with The Leela Hyderabad for this exclusive pop-up allows us to create a truly immersive experience, one that celebrates both world-class talent and the evolving palate of Indian gourmands.”

Raen – The Chef Studio at The Leela Hyderabad, is envisioned as a stage for the finest international culinary talent and is dedicated to curating transformative gastronomical dining experiences for guests. With its focus on innovation, craftsmanship and global collaborations, Raen has quickly emerged as a gastronomic destination. Hosting Chef Andrea Selvaggini for his India debut further reinforces its commitment to presenting the world’s most exceptional culinary voices, while continuing to elevate Hyderabad’s standing as a vibrant hub for international gastronomy.

Rajesh Gopalakrishnan, General Manager, The Leela Hyderabad, added, “Welcoming Chef Andrea Selvaggini is another jewel added to Raen’s crown as we continue curating world-class culinary experiences. This pop-up reflects our commitment to placing Hyderabad firmly on the global gastronomic map.”
