Gandhinagar, November 27, 2024: Taking the holiday spirit a notch higher, The Leela Gandhinagar marked the beginning of Christmas celebrations with the traditional cake-mixing ceremony, inviting influential people and guests to join the festivities this year.

The ceremony took place at the poolside, where Executive Chef, Kapil Dubey welcomed the guests for an evening of festive fun and tradition. The guests joined the team to mix the ingredients, including cashew nuts, walnuts, cherries, dates, prunes, figs, cinnamon and raisins, setting the stage for the upcoming Christmas season.

Everyone enthusiastically participated in the ceremony, adding energy and cheer to the occasion, and sharing the joy of the holiday tradition with their peers. The lively gathering not only ushered in the festive spirits but also paved the way for a variety of cakes and bespoke gifting options for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The event continued with a delightful brunch, featuring a festive hamper giveaway, and concluded with a sumptuous Christmas dinner, creating the perfect end to a memorable celebration.

Vikas Sood, General Manager of The Leela Gandhinagar and Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre Managed by The Leela, said, “The cake-mixing ceremony symbolises the festive spirit of getting together and relishing delicious food. It was our honour to host the ceremony with a wonderful group of people, who brought a unique warmth and joy to the occasion. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Christmas celebrations.”
