The celebrated chef has been in the industry for over a decade Chef Apa has been in the culinary industry for over two decades. The team at The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru is ecstatic about having Chef Roberto Apa come in.
The team is looking forward to him bringing his expertise and unique perspective to their kitchen. Chef Roberto Apa has worked with prestigious hotel brands like Marriott International and his last stint was with Scalini Restaurant in Doha as Executive Chef.
On joining The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru, Chef Roberto Apa, Executive Sous Chef, says “All my commitment and aim is to give a superlative culinary experience for the guests who dine with me and etch on their memories a truly unique experience for which they would love to come back and relive the moments of joy and happiness. Having graduated from IPSAR Lucio Petronio and ALMA of the National Academy of Italian Cuisine comes with thorough industry knowledge, keen insights, and an understanding of how large kitchens are run and managed without compromising on the quality standard that is provided to the patrons.
Generally inquisitive and curious, Chef Roberto believes, “My cuisine is particularly linked to my experience and my memory. Every dish is a part of the Italian culture and carries along the tradition of family recipes handed over generations within the family kitchen, from farm to the countryside and ocean, all reworked by the varied experience of my work in the world and by the innovative culinary techniques.” he adds.
