The Filter Coffee continues its expansion across Bengaluru with the opening of three new neighbourhood outlets in Sadashivanagar, Jayanagar, and Church Street, taking the brand’s total footprint in the city to ten outlets. Rooted in the everyday household rituals of southern India, the brand brings familiar flavours, warm meals, and its signature filter coffee closer to more neighbourhoods across the city.

The Sadashivanagar outlet, opened on February 9th, 2026, spans 2,300 sq. ft. with a 66-seater casual dine-in format with full service, along with the traditional banana leaf experience. Marking the brand’s physical expansion, the outlet reflects a natural progression in one of Bengaluru’s most respected residential neighbourhoods.

Opening on February 23, 2026, the 1,100 sq. ft. outlet at 1 Sobha Mall on Church Street making it the brand’s first food court format outlet. Located in a high-footfall, high-visibility precinct, the outlet allows The Filter Coffee to serve central Bengaluru and the CBD with the same consistency in flavour and quality.

The Jayanagar outlet, which will be opening very soon, spans 2,100 sqft. and will be a casual dining restaurant. This outlet will have the traditional banana leaf experience along with a premium full-service experience. Situated in a neighbourhood known for its deeply rooted vegetarian dining culture, the outlet caters to diners with a strong familiarity and appreciation for South Indian cuisine.

“With every new outlet we open, our commitment to food quality and consistency remains unchanged. Consistency is the foundation of trust, and it’s what enables us to expand without diluting the experience our customers expect,” says Sankrit Iyer, Co-founder of The Filter Coffee. Known for its focus on authenticity and simplicity, The Filter Coffee has established itself as a household name among customers looking for simple South Indian meals served with warmth and consistency. Each outlet has been thoughtfully designed as a relaxed and welcoming space that reflects the brand’s belief that food is best enjoyed in a comfortable setting. The upcoming outlets aim to carry this experience forward to new communities throughout Bengaluru, while also staying true to their core philosophy.

Across all formats and locations, The Filter Coffee follows a dining philosophy rooted in authenticity, quality, and consistency and focuses on classic South Indian dishes prepared with care and served with warmth, ensuring a familiar experience for returning customers while introducing new diners to the brand’s approach.

“We’ve seen strong demand from customers asking for The Filter Coffee closer to where they live. Expanding into these well-known neighbourhoods allows us to serve a wider audience while staying true to the everyday dining experience we’re known for,” says Avinit Bagri, Co-founder of The Filter Coffee

The Filter Coffee’s three planned launches reinforce its position in Bengaluru through offerings designed to become part of everyday dining routines, rather than being limited to special occasions. Each location is envisioned as a regular destination for meals, coffee breaks, and relaxed dining, while continuing to deliver the comfort of familiarity, elevated through contemporary experiences, thoughtful innovation, and improved accessibility, without losing the brand’s core identity. With a menu and service approach that holds universal appeal across generations, the brand remains relevant throughout the day, offering something suited to every moment. This expansion follows steady growth across dine-in, takeaway, and delivery formats, with neighbourhood-led stores continuing to form the foundation of its Bengaluru strategy.

As Bengaluru’s food landscape continues to evolve, The Filter Coffee remains focused on serving familiar South Indian meals rooted in tradition. The three new outlets reflect a balanced approach to growth, expanding across formats and neighbourhoods while preserving the everyday dining experience at the heart of the brand.
