    The Fern Signs Two New Marriott Series Properties In Maharashtra

    The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of two new properties in Maharashtra The Fern Residency Shirdi, Series by Marriott and The Fern Elysia Resort Dahanu, Boisar, Series by Marriott. With these additions, the group continues its strategic expansion across the state, taking the total number of operational and upcoming properties in Maharashtra to 45.

    The dual signings further reinforce the brand’s commitment to strengthening its footprint across key spiritual, leisure and emerging business destinations in Maharashtra, while delivering hospitality experiences rooted in comfort, sustainability and thoughtful service.

    Sharing his thoughts on the expansion, Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director, The Fern Hotels & Resorts, said, “Maharashtra continues to be a strategically important market for us, given its strong tourism potential and growing demand for quality hospitality offerings. Through these signings in Shirdi and Boisar, we aim to strengthen our presence across diverse travel destinations from prominent pilgrimage hubs to emerging leisure and business markets. Both properties reflect our commitment to offering dependable, sustainable and guest-centric hospitality experiences.”

    Located in one of India’s most prominent pilgrimage destinations, The Fern Residency Shirdi, Series by Marriott will feature 72 well-appointed rooms and suites designed for both business and leisure travellers. The property will include an all-day dining restaurant offering a variety of cuisine options in thoughtfully curated spaces. Scheduled to open in 2028, the hotel aims to provide a seamless and enriching stay experience for visitors to Shirdi.

    Commenting on the association, Nitin Kote, Partner – Hotel Sai Shatabdi, said, “With the city welcoming visitors from across the country throughout the year, we are confident this partnership will offer guests a comfortable and dependable stay experience backed by quality hospitality standards.”

    Further strengthening the group’s presence in the state, The Fern Elysia Resort Dahanu, Boisar, Series by Marriott will offer 76 well-appointed rooms and suites, thoughtfully designed to cater to evolving traveller preferences. The resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant and a bar, creating ideal spaces for relaxation and social gatherings. Scheduled to open in 2029, the resort is expected to serve both leisure and business travellers visiting the region.
