    Mumbai, April 23, 2025: The Fern Hotels & Resorts has revealed significant managerial hirings for three of its hotels, beefing up the leadership at each of them with seasoned hospitality practitioners.

    • Shailendra Gairola – General Manager, Rajawat The Fern – An Ecotel Hotel, Kanpur

      Shailendra Gairola brings over two decades of hospitality experience to his new role as General Manager in Kanpur. Having previously worked with prominent hotel chains including The Oberoi and Marriott, Gairola specializes in food and beverage operations with a strong focus on technological integration for enhanced guest experiences.

    In his new role, Gairola will be responsible for all operations of the hotel as he looks to drive service excellence initiatives. His appointment is in line with Kanpur experiencing greater demand for quality hotels from both leisure and business tourists.

    • Rajneesh Kumar – Operations Manager, The Fern – An Ecotel Hotel, Kota

      With a work experience of fifteen years in the industry, Rajneesh Kumar takes on the post of Operations Manager for the Kota property. Kumar has had important roles at Sarovar Portico, Ajmer and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Kota, where he showed competence in sales techniques and F&B operations.

    Kumar’s key duties will be to improve day-to-day operations, handling finances, and maintaining profitability levels. His joining will further enhance the operational strengths of the hotel in Kota’s burgeoning hospitality industry.

    • Ashish Dhebe – Squad Champion, Alokik Sharanam Zinc Journey by The Fern, Lake Tapola, Mahabaleshwar

      Ashish Dhebe becomes Squad Champion at the Mahabaleshwar property with sixteen years of multi-faceted hospitality experience. Dhebe has been in leadership positions across some of the biggest brands, gaining expertise in operational effectiveness and guest experience optimization.

    At the lakeside retreat, Dhebe will work on process simplification and upholding high service standards. The appointment is an indicator of the property’s intent to provide quality experiences at this nature-oriented destination.

    These appointments follow India’s hospitality industry showing robust signs of recovery, especially in secondary markets. Fern’s focus on seasoned leadership is consistent with trends in the industry that support operational acumen and localized management in the post-pandemic travel era.
