In a city that never slows down, The Conservatory has returned to Juhu not with fanfare, but with quiet intention: to offer Mumbai a place where time softens and nature takes centre stage.

After a thoughtful hiatus, the beloved garden-led dining destination has reopened its doors in January 2026, more immersive and soulful than ever. Spread across 2,000 sq. ft. over two levels, the 75-seater space feels like an urban pause button. Natural light pours in through a glass rooftop and floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating earthy textures, muted tones, and curated greenery. Outside, the al fresco seating is edged with mulberry, mango and guava trees, gently screened by vivid fuchsia bougainvillea, transporting diners to a European café setting, far removed from the city’s rush despite being firmly rooted in Juhu.

The relaunch introduces a thoughtfully reworked food and bar menu, designed to mirror the restaurant’s easy elegance. The kitchen explores European techniques infused with South-East Asian influences and familiar Indian accents, resulting in plates that are nuanced yet comforting. Expect refreshing cold plates like Phuket Bhel with Thai tamarind and tender coconut, vibrant salads, indulgent wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and robust mains from Nasi Goreng and Jaffna Mutton to perfectly cooked seafood and slow, sauce-led preparations. Desserts lean nostalgic yet refined, closing the meal on a quietly indulgent note.

At the bar, The Conservatory’s cocktail programme steps into the spotlight with inventive, layered signatures that blend tropical fruits, savoury elements, herbs, spices and house infusions. From clarified cocktails and fruit-forward aperitivos to globally inspired classics and a comprehensive wine and spirits selection, the bar is designed for long afternoons that melt into unhurried evenings.

Speaking about the reopening, Founder Suren Joshi says, “The Conservatory was always imagined as a space where people could slow down and feel at home surrounded by nature, honest food, and thoughtful drinks. This reopening isn’t about reinventing who we are, but about refining it. Every element has been revisited to create a place where time feels generous and experiences unfold naturally.”

More than just a restaurant reopening, The Conservatory’s return signals the revival of a much-loved neighbourhood address one that invites guests to linger, reconnect, and rediscover the joy of dining at a gentler pace.
