New Delhi:  This monsoon, The China Kitchen at Hyatt Regency Delhi is inviting diners to embark on an exhilarating culinary journey across China’s provinces with the launch of its all-new menu, passionately curated by Chef Zhang Hongsheng. The refreshed menu, available from June 6, 2025, promises an immersive experience rooted in tradition and elevated by modern techniques.

Reflecting the team’s reinvigorated philosophy of culinary storytelling, the new offerings pay homage to authentic regional flavours while showcasing the chef’s commitment to quality and innovation.

The line-up is a tapestry of dynamic tastes and textures, with highlights including fiery Sichuan-style dumplings, hand-pulled Dan Dan noodles, and delicately steamed crystal dumplings filled with lotus root, edamame, and water chestnuts.

Diners can savour distinctive creations such as the Signature Prawn Shao Mai, Mapo Tofu with Black Bean and Sichuan Pepper, and a luxurious Chilli Jumbo Crab, paired ingeniously with freshly baked French bread.

Chef Zhang Hongsheng’s approach centres on flavour-forward cooking, using premium, locally sourced ingredients.

“Each dish is a tribute to time-honoured Chinese cuisines, thoughtfully reimagined for today’s discerning guest,” Chef Zhang shared. Other standouts include pan-fried Xinjiang Lamb Pancakes and the subtly aromatic Hot and Sour Mushroom Soup, elevated with truffle oil, designed to engage and delight multiple senses.

The new chapter at The China Kitchen is a celebration of Chinese culinary artistry meant to transport guests through every bite.

The experience is available daily, for both lunch (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM – 11:30 PM), offering a rare opportunity to explore China’s rich gastronomic tapestry in the heart of the capital.
