10th October, 2022- A centrally located hotel for socially-spirited explorers to experience the hidden gems of the city, Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh is a modern lifestyle hotel that is an amalgamation of all things exceptional, leisure and wellness. Situated in the heart of Chandigarh within the vicinity of Rose Garden and Sector 17 market, the hotel is a homage to French architect Le Corbusier, designer and planner of the city, as it celebrates his design philosophy against the vibrantly bold culture of Punjab. The hotel experience finds its expression across 139 rooms and 6 suites, all of which offer spectacular city views. The guest rooms at the hotel present a perfect fusion of modern architecture with traditional touches, interspersed with contemporary décor and eclectic furnishings to create a stylish, functional and relaxing experience for its guests.

The destination boasts two exceptional outlets to wine and dine, which are both local in essence and contemporary in experience. The first is Corby’s, a multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant that is perfect for guests to enjoy a delicious spread featuring a wide variety of local and international delicacies such as Attari Murgh, Ghee Podi Naan, Sourdough Pizzas, Dal Makhani, Pan Seared Sole, Malerkotla Murgh Tikka etc. The second, soon-to-be-launched dining option is Koyo Koyo, the property’s Contemporary-Asian restaurant and bar. In addition to these, the hotel also includes a thoughtfully designed Hyatt Centric Lounge that offers a curated tea and coffee program completed with themed hi-tea setups.

The hotel also offers its guests a range of fitness and wellness offerings that includes the outdoor pool and specially built ‘place of respite’—Viram which leverages the five essential elements of earth, water, fire, wine and space to realign the body and spirit. Catering to fitness enthusiasts staying at the hotel, the Fitness Centre is accessible to all guests and is fully furnished with high-tech cardio and fitness equipment from TechnoGym.

To help savvy explorers discover more of Chandigarh and see the city from a fresh point of view, Hyatt Centric has curated a differentiated offering called “The 17 Experiences” which are designed to capture cultural tourist destinations, nature and sports activities such as visits to popular historical spots, museums, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden and activities such as shooting, dancing the bhangra, pedalling across the city etc. For guests, this exploration doesn’t end at the door! With artistically-curated spaces throughout the hotel that have been thoughtfully designed to help you work, relax and socialise, Hyatt Centric Chandigarh promises to be the most inviting modernist aesthetic hotel destination for every savvy explorer.
