Vizag’s food lovers are in for a vibrant new dining experience this July as Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach hosts a specially curated Thai Food Festival at Red Bowl – Pan Asian Kitchen. From 1st to 12th July 2026, the festival will bring the unmistakable flavours of Thailand to the city, from fragrant curries and fresh herbs to fiery spices, tangy broths and comforting classics that have made Thai cuisine popular across the world.

Designed as a lively culinary escape for gourmands and curious diners alike, the festival offers Vizag residents the chance to experience the depth and balance of Thai cooking without leaving the city. Adding authenticity to the showcase is Chef Penpak Panjampee, popularly known as Chef Vina, who has travelled from Thailand to curate the experience at Red Bowl. Known for championing Thailand’s culinary traditions at international food festivals and cultural collaborations, Chef Vina brings a style rooted in freshness, balance and bold flavour.

The menu celebrates some of Thailand’s best-loved dishes, including the tangy Tom Yum Soup, crisp and refreshing Som Tam (Raw Papaya Salad), the ever-popular Pad Thai Noodles, and the indulgent Mango Sticky Rice. Guests can also look forward to regional specialities that reflect the diversity of Thai cuisine, prepared using traditional techniques and carefully selected ingredients to bring out the sweet, sour, salty and spicy notes that define Thai food.

Speaking about the festival, Lakshmi Sridhar, General Manager, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, said, “Vizag has an increasingly adventurous dining audience, and this festival is our way of bringing a slice of Thailand to the city. Thai cuisine is loved for its balance of freshness, spice and comfort, and with Chef Vina curating the experience, guests can look forward to flavours that are both authentic and exciting. We are delighted to host this celebration at Red Bowl and offer our guests a memorable culinary journey by the Bay of Bengal.”

Whether for Thai food enthusiasts, families looking for a new weekend dining experience, or gourmands keen to explore global flavours in Vizag, the festival promises an engaging and flavourful celebration complemented by Red Bowl’s warm hospitality and panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal.
