On June 23rd, Stockholm’s City Hall turns 100 years old. It will be celebrated by filling the entire City Hall with love. An unforgettable day when newlyweds flow through Stockholm’s finest ballrooms – immortalise their wedding in the Golden Hall and toast with loved ones in the Blue Hall.

When the Stockholm’s City Hall was inaugurated in 1923, the celebration lasted a whole week with festivities of various kinds. The inauguration day itself, the highlight of the celebration was Midsummer’s Eve on June 23rd 1923.

It is normal for 70 couples to marry at the City Hall on a Saturday, but on this special anniversary day, 200 couples will celebrate with bookings through to 9pm in the evening.
