STAAH has unveiled the new ‘Accessibility Menu’ in its hotel inventory, rate management and booking platform SwiftBook. This new feature has been especially designed to allow browsers with access needs to enjoy a hassle-free and seamless online search and booking experience across hotel websites.

The new user-friendly SwiftBook menu greatly benefits users with diverse abilities, those functioning in low-light environments, aging customers, and even users on older devices. Users can adjust contrast to make the interface clearer and easier to distinguish. Browsers with visual impairments can resize text as per convenience and enlarge the cursor for easy navigation. The new menu also highlights links to avoid confusion and mis-clicks and offers a Screen Reader Compatibility to enable blind or low-vision users to access content through auditory feedback.

“We are very excited to launch SwiftBook’s Accessibility Menu that empowers users to customise their interface according to their individual needs. By proactively adapting our booking engine and designing this inclusive digital experience, we are opening doors for millions who may otherwise be excluded from digital travel services. This feature also enables our partner properties to become customer-centric in the truest sense, fostering loyalty and trust among their guests,” says Shoaib Ali – National Sales Head India, STAAH.

SwiftBook’s new accessibility capabilities are available to all partners effective immediately and will be constantly updated based on user feedback. Properties utilizing SwiftBook will now have a powerful new tool to enhance guest satisfaction and set new benchmarks for digital hospitality.
