Southern Travels celebrated Golden Jubilee in style and grandeur
One of the most well-known and trusted travel companies in the travel and tourism sector, Southern Travels, recently marked five decades in business. On September 14, 2022, at The Lalit in New Delhi, Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy launched the Golden Jubilee celebrations and the new brand logo. On this occasion, Southern Travels announced to have been granted 18 apartments and 36 dormitory beds at the Kashi Vishwanath temple grounds.
“Today, I am delighted to manifest and comprehend the contribution of Southern Travels to travel and tourism in South India. Indeed, both have a golden history, a history based on commitments made with people, culture, and time,” said Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, G Kishan Reddy, adding, “50 years of excellent services, recipient of National Award, 8 times in a row, and the privilege of representing the country at WTM, ITB Berlin, ICCA, ATM, TANA and other events of international repute. And, it is the company’s staunch leadership, guided by ethical values embedded in Indian culture, that has made this possible.”
Since its founding in 1970, Southern Travels has provided visitors with a variety of alternatives, including individual vacations, set departures, incentive vacations, special specialty tours, visas, and hotel
reservations around the world. The business is currently on an expansion binge. By March 2023, it will have established a presence with Travel Brand Stores in more than 50 Indian cities as a service provider as well. Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy also mentioned the natural beauty and scope of tourism in the North Eastern states of India and Jammu & Kashmir. He assured the investors to expect all kinds of support for the establishment from the Central Government.
