SOL55, nestled in the heart of Koramangala, opens its doors as a grounded, warm, and deeply familiar space designed for the everyday social rhythms of Bengaluru.

More than just a bar, SOL55 positions itself as a community hub—where colleagues unwind after work, friends extend weekend plans, and regulars return not for spectacle, but for consistency, comfort, and genuine connection.

“With SOL55, we wanted to create the kind of bar we ourselves kept looking for in Bengaluru,” says founder Yuvaraja HS. “One that feels familiar, dependable, and easy to come back to—without overthinking it.”

Drawing its name from “SOL” (sun) and the organic flow of urban life, SOL55 blends premium quality with approachable pricing. The 300-seater venue eschews the chaos of dive bars and the exclusivity of high-end lounges, offering instead a polished yet unpretentious atmosphere where honest drinks and soulful food take centre stage.

Food as a Reason to Return

Unlike typical bar menus built around snacks, SOL55 places full, flavourful meals at its core—most notably its trio of regional thalis: the Coastal Thali (seafood-forward and aromatic), the Maratha Shivaji Thali (earthy, robust Maharashtrian fare), and the Goan Thali (bold, spice-laced coastal comfort). These complete meals are a rarity in Bengaluru’s bar landscape.

For groups, thoughtfully curated Veg and Non-Veg Platters encourage sharing—featuring everything from khakra and sprouts salad to pepper chicken, seekh kebabs, and liver fry. The broader menu spans Indian bar classics, grilled mains, and seafood, ensuring food is never an afterthought.

    Cocktails with a Local Soul

The bar programme mirrors this philosophy: well-crafted, approachable, and subtly inventive. Standouts include the Smoked Rosemary (gin, cucumber, herbs), Berry I Need (whiskey with fruit-forward notes), and the Wildside (gin, basil, elderflower, pineapple). Modern clarified cocktails like the Filter Coffee Negroni and Coconut Curry Colada add a playful, Bengaluru-inflected twist to classics.

    Designed to Belong

With warm interiors, intuitive service, and a brand ethos rooted in energy, balance, and celebration, SOL55 avoids performative design in favour of genuine hospitality. Open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM, it’s priced accessibly at ₹990 for two, reinforcing its identity as a premium-but-not-precious neighbourhood anchor.

As Bengaluru’s F&B scene matures, SOL55 arrives not to chase trends—but to build something lasting: a bar that grows with its people, one honest pour and comforting thali at a time.
