Soho House to Open Its First House in Japan
Tokyo, June 18, 2024: Soho House has announced plans to open its first House in Japan in 2026. It will be located in the Aoyama district – close to Omotesando – and provide a space for members who are connected to, or work in the creative industries to eat, drink and meet other creatives, as well as attend unique events.
Soho House Tokyo will become the fourth Soho House in Asia, following Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok opening in the past six years. Situated in an area known for its independent boutiques, vibrant fashion district, and art galleries, it will be set across four floors and provide members with club space, a rooftop pool and terrace, 42 bedrooms, and event spaces.
The interiors of the House will blend the beauty of Japanese minimalist design with the warm and comforting style of Soho House.
‘Soho House has a strong connection with Tokyo and has been bringing together interesting, diverse Japanese creatives for the past eight years through our Cities Without Houses membership. We can’t wait to open our first House in Japan and welcome more of the incredible talent in the capital city to be part of our global membership community.’ Dominique Bellas, Membership Director, Cities Without Houses
