Serendipity Arts Festival in Goa
The Serendipity Art Festival is being held in association with GMR and supported by the Government of Goa, the Corporation of The City of Panaji, the Directorate of Art and Culture, Goa, the Entertainment Society of Goa, the Goa Tourism Department, and the Goa Forest Department, along with Technology partner Microsoft and Logistics Partner Delhivery.
The event was organized for nine days and spread across 14+ venues with over 120+ programs. The 3rd day of The Serendipity Art Festival had diverse dance performances, lilting music, engaging theatrical performances, and culinary tales, among other engaging things.
Highlights of the Day included Lavanya Katta, Old GMC Complex; Ghatam Tarangini: The Magic of Clay Pots, Re-imagined Goan Cuisine. There was also The Arena at Nagalli Hills Ground which is a project by Daksha Sheth Dance Company, Asima Ensemble and the Sari School, with music, design, and direction by Devissaro with aesthetic choreography by Daksha Sheth, the dance performance sought to highlight the quotidian evolution of the sari from a cotton pod into the magnificent six yards of grace, that can be draped in a range of styles.
Serendipity Arts Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts event held annually every December in Goa. Curated by a panel of eminent artists and institutional figures, the Festival is a long-term cultural project that hopes to instigate positive change across the arts in India on a large scale
