Celebrating the rich culinary traditions and vibrant cultural heritage of Bihar, Sayaji Hotel Vadodara invites food lovers to experience “Maa Maati Bihar“, a specially curated Bihari Food Festival at Cravings, at Sayaji Hotel Vadodara. Designed to go beyond the familiar flavours of Litti Chokha, the festival offers guests an authentic journey through Bihar’s diverse regional cuisine, showcasing slow-cooked delicacies, rustic street food and time-honoured family recipes that have been passed down through generations.

Curated by the hotel’s talented culinary team, the lavish dinner buffet pays tribute to the earthy flavours and traditional cooking techniques that define Bihari cuisine. Guests can savour signature dishes including an assortment of Litti Chokha with chef’s special varieties of chokha, the iconic Mutton Champaran, tender Bihari Kebabs, Jhalmuri, Sattu Paratha with Baingan Bharta and a refreshing welcome drink prepared using nutrient-rich sattu flour. The culinary experience concludes with an indulgent selection of traditional desserts and sweets such as Malpua with Rabdi, Tilkut, Pitha, Thekua and Khaja, offering a wholesome taste of Bihar’s sweet traditions.

Inspired by the theme maati ki Sugandh (Aroma of the Soil) and the warmth of the traditional Bihari kitchen, the festival recreates an authentic village ambience through thoughtfully designed décor featuring clay pots, brass utensils, wooden platters, charcoal-inspired elements, themed buffet displays, and a dedicated selfie booth. Adding to the immersive experience, the service team will be dressed in traditional kurta, pyjama, and gamcha attire, while live music sets the perfect backdrop for an evening steeped in culture and hospitality.

To make the experience even more memorable, guests can also enjoy a complimentary 1+1 offer on mocktails, making it an ideal outing for families, food enthusiasts, and those eager to explore India’s rich regional cuisines. Whether guests are discovering Bihari cuisine for the first time or revisiting cherished flavours from home, every dish has been thoughtfully crafted to deliver an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
