Savorworks Coffee & Chocolate has appointed Chef Hemant Bisht as Head Chef as the company continues to develop its food and beverage offering and expand its presence across India.

In his new role, Chef Hemant will oversee culinary operations at the brand’s GK2 and Gurgaon outlets while supporting the company’s long-term expansion plans. He will be responsible for menu development, food quality, kitchen operations and team leadership across existing and future locations.

The appointment reflects Savorworks’ focus on building a dining experience that complements its coffee, chocolate, bakery and beverage offerings. As the brand expands, Chef Hemant will also play a key role in establishing culinary systems, mentoring teams and maintaining consistency across outlets.

Chef Hemant brings more than 13 years of experience in hospitality, having worked across luxury hotels, restaurants and hospitality groups. His career began after studying hospitality management at ITM Dehradun, followed by professional training at Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie. He also gained experience at Ananda in the Himalayas before taking on roles in Chandigarh and later at InterContinental Chennai.

Over the years, he has worked with hospitality brands including Indigo Hospitality, Passcode Hospitality’s SAZ and Mesa Kitchen & Bar, where he held leadership responsibilities across culinary operations and menu planning.

Commenting on the appointment, Baninder Singh, Founder of Savorworks Coffee & Chocolate, said, “The company aims to strengthen its food programme alongside its coffee, chocolate and dessert offerings. He noted that Chef Hemant’s experience in culinary development and restaurant operations will support the brand’s future growth plans.”

Speaking about his new role, Chef Hemant said he was looking forward to working with the team and contributing to the brand’s focus on quality, creativity and craftsmanship. He added that he hopes to support the development of young culinary professionals while helping create memorable dining experiences for guests.

As Savorworks Coffee & Chocolate prepares for further expansion, the company expects Chef Hemant’s leadership to support the development of its culinary identity across new markets and locations.
