Sariska Lodge is an intimate retreat that welcomes guests to experience a rare connection between responsible travel, sustainable living, and experiential luxury hospitality. Perched on the edge of Sariska Tiger Reserve and enveloped by the gorgeous Aravalli Hills, the lodge is set within 15 acres of afforested land and has been thoughtfully developed over two and a half years. Uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape and wilderness, as well as consciously curated activities, allow the lodge to serve as a tranquil gateway into the region’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

Sariska Lodge is the vision of Anand Shekhawat and Puneet Jain, rooted in their passionate beliefs for genuine hospitality and conservation. Anand is a veteran hotelier, conservationist, and sustainability-driven entrepreneur with over 20 years of working with globally reputed groups such as – Aman Resorts and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Anand has a deep respect for the wild, an emotional bond with the local community, and a lifelong commitment to building with purpose. Puneet is a visionary entrepreneur and devoted wildlife enthusiast, who effortlessly balances boardroom brilliance with his profound connection to nature and local communities. With over 22 years of experience, he brings a strategic, future-facing perspective for Sariska Lodge while staying rooted in the destination’s heritage and ecology.

“Sariska Lodge is an outcome of sheer dedication and tireless efforts of our team. As we progress in our path to redefine responsible travel in India, we are confident that our guests will appreciate our meticulously designed experiences as well as heartfelt hospitality – that make every journey here truly unique and unforgettable.” – says Anand Shekhawat, Founder at Sariska Lodge.

“We welcome discerning travellers with varied interests to come and experience the enchanting heritage, natural beauty, and thriving wildlife of Sariska. Our lodge weaves together an environmentally conscious setting with carefully crafted activities in respect of the region – creating truly transformative holidays for every guest.” – adds Puneet Jain, Founder at Sariska Lodge.

The retreat has been built with a low-impact, sustainability-first approach. Over 15,000 plants, trees and native grasses have been introduced to restore soil health and create a micro-ecosystem. Every detail – from architecture to activities – ensures harmony with the environment.

With 11 private suites, Sariska Lodge offers guests a peaceful stay – where seclusion meets immersion in nature. It features a dedicated restaurant, open dining area and bar, lush native flora with an organic garden, quiet outdoor spaces, a serene outdoor pool, a wellness centre, and an in-house stable with magnificent horses called Ashwalaya.

At Sariska Lodge, the design draws inspiration from British-era forest resthouses and Rajasthani hunting lodges. The built-up outdoor and indoor spaces highlight local stone and reclaimed wood. The interiors have an earth-toned palette, complemented by intricately carved jaalis, leather accents, and locally-sourced materials. Every corner reflects a seamless connection to nature through views of the stunning Aravallis and flourishing foliage that transforms with every season. Here guests have the opportunity to witness both the remarkable natural beauty and layered history of Sariska.

Guests are encouraged to slow down in the comfort of the retreat and immerse themselves in nature’s embrace while discovering the destination at their own pace. Each activity has been crafted carefully by the lodge’s team, blending their deep knowledge of the land with an eye for creating moments that linger long after the journey ends. These resonate with travellers who want to experience the rich biodiversity, spell-binding landscapes and hidden gems through guided jungle safaris, birdwatching trails, scenic forest drives, and nature walks.

Located adjacent to the Tehla Gate of Sariska Tiger Reserve, the lodge has easy access to the park and safaris offer chance encounters with wildlife that includes Tigers, Leopards, Hyenas, Jackals, Sloth Bears, small Wild Cats, varieties of Deer, over 200 species of birds, and much more. Guests can also familiarise themselves with the terrain on horseback, enjoy picnics on secluded hilltops, explore centuries-old temples and sacred sites, or visit nearby villages to meet local artisans who keep their traditions alive.

Dining here is a sensory experience rooted in the rhythms of the land. Sariska Lodge has a unique farm-to-table philosophy, here meals are freshly prepared using seasonal, locally sourced produce and harvests from the organic garden. One can dine under the trees, or in the elegance of the restaurant, or savour campfire dinners under starlit skies – while enjoying fresh flavours, select global cuisine, and Rajasthan’s regional dishes.

For balance, quietude, and a deeply restorative journey after outdoor excursions, guests can head to the Ku Nye Wellness Centre – a sanctuary that provides Ayurvedic therapies, Tibetan healing rituals, well-appointed spa treatment rooms with steam and sauna facilities, yoga sessions on the rooftop, and more. One can also find peace in meditation by a serene reservoir nearby or amid fort ruins that are over a thousand years old.

At the heart of Sariska Lodge’s ethos is ensuring that every stay supports the communities from nearby areas. Many from the staff here started out as construction workers and have been trained into specialised hospitality roles. The lodge is making great strides in championing community livelihoods, and a sizeable percentage of the team also comprises women from local villages.

Sariska Lodge is located near the quiet Tehla village. It is just a 2.5-hour drive from Jaipur and around 3 hours from Delhi, and via airports in both these hubs – the lodge also has effortless connectivity from all major cities.
