Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences has announced the appointment of Sakshi Upadhyay as Assistant Director of Sales, marking her return to the property in a strategic commercial leadership role.

With a proven track record in hotel sales, Sakshi brings over a decade of experience in both corporate and luxury hospitality environments. Her return to Hyatt Regency Pune reflects the hotel’s focus on strengthening its corporate sales strategy and enhancing market engagement amid growing demand in Pune’s hospitality sector.

During her previous tenure with Hyatt Regency Pune, Sakshi played a pivotal role in building strong client relationships and implementing effective sales strategies that contributed to significant revenue growth. She was instrumental in positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for business travel, conferences, and events.

Her broader career includes leadership roles at renowned hotel brands such as Sheraton, The Leela, and Hilton. Across these roles, she managed key accounts, executed targeted sales campaigns, and demonstrated strong capabilities in guest and client relationship management. Her familiarity with multiple markets and segments adds value to the hotel’s commercial efforts, particularly in navigating evolving client expectations and competitive conditions.

In her new role, Sakshi will focus on expanding the corporate client base, deepening existing partnerships, and supporting the overall sales strategy of the property. She will also work closely with the commercial leadership team to identify new business opportunities and implement market-relevant solutions.

Her return is viewed as both a strategic move and a reaffirmation of the hotel’s commitment to talent retention and development. Sakshi’s understanding of the local market, combined with her collaborative approach and leadership capabilities, are expected to contribute significantly to the hotel’s growth trajectory.

Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences welcomes Sakshi Upadhyay back to the team and looks forward to her contributions in the months ahead.
