    Saj Hotels Pvt Ltd has appointed Zamir Khan as their new CEO. In his new role, Zamir will develop strategies, drive growth and foster innovation for the Hotels and Restaurants verticals of the Group.

    Zamir brings over two decades of experience across sectors such as Hospitality, FMCG, Real Estate, Aviation, ITes, Telecommunications, among others and has been part of the founding team of prestigious brands like Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., Wrapster Foods Pvt. Ltd., and worked with leading indigenous business houses like Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Dabur (India) Ltd., Avantha Group, DLF Retail Ltd., to name a few. He has also spearheaded the communications mandate for conglomerates such as Telcordia, Emirates Airlines, EMC Corporation, TetraPak, Nokia, among others.

    As the C.E.O, Zamir brings with him a wealth of experience and astute business acumen that will strengthen the brands’ position, build advocacy, and complement the growth of the company. Saj Hotels Pvt. Ltd currently owns two boutique resorts, situated in Mahabaleshwar and Malshej Ghat respectively. The Group also operates award winning and acclaimed Modern Indian Coastal cuisine restaurant – Mahé and the revered, fun Japanese & Korean cuisine destination – Roboto in Goa. With the aim of expanding its footprint, the Group is in the process of launching a new Resort property – Saj in the Forest, inside the Pench National Park, Madhya Pradesh, scheduled to open in the first week of April, while also in the pipeline is the launch of a high-octane, fun, contemporary Bar concept – Clumsy, scheduled to open doors next month in Goa.

    Speaking about his appointment, Zamir Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Saj Hotels Pvt. The pandemic did set us back, but it also presented newer possibilities in India. I would like to express my gratitude to the promoters and board of directors, especially the Chairman – Mr. Rahul Timbadia for showing their faith in me.”

    In recognition of his work, Zamir has been awarded the ‘Most Talented Marketing Professional Award -Corporate Excellence Awards’, World Marketing Congress and the ‘Most Talented Corporate Communication Leader’ by the World CSR Congress.

    A dynamic professional and a dedicated family man, Zamir loves to spend time with his family. He has a keen interest in photography and is an avid traveller. He enjoys listening to music of various genres as well as aspires to grow from strength to strength in the field of hospitality.
