New Delhi, October 18, 2024: Roseate Hotels & Resorts is committed to empowering women, exemplified by its sponsorship of sportsperson Goldy Mishra on her mountaineering expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The flag-off event for Mishra’s journey took place at Roseate House New Delhi on October 17.

Goldy Mishra (Mountaineer) said: “I’m really excited to be at Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi as I prepare to start my journey to Mount Kilimanjaro! This expedition is not just a personal challenge, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Roseate Hotels & Resorts for supporting my dream. I’m proud to represent the progressive brand and carry its flag to the top of Africa’s highest mountain. Mount Kilimanjaro stands at 19,341 feet (5,895 meters) in Tanzania, featuring three prominent peaks: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It’s the highest freestanding mountain above sea level and boasts diverse climate zones and stunning landscapes.

To make my journey smoother, healthier and happier, Roseate Hotels & Resorts is generously supporting my finances and transportation for the expedition. They have also very kindly packed me a whole lot of Roseate goodies, cookies, chocolates, tea to make me feel energetic. They have also given me even box of Roseate matchboxes. These I will definitely need to keep me warm and in high spirits.

With your warm wishes and support, I’m all set for this journey and I can’t wait to share this incredible adventure with you all!”

Kush Kapoor (CEO, Roseate Hotels & Resorts) said: “Today, we gather to celebrate the spirit of adventure and values that define Roseate Hotels and Resorts. I’d like to share our commitment to a cause that is very close to our hearts at Roseate Hotels and Resorts: women empowerment. We believe that fostering an environment where women can thrive is essential to our mission and values. To support our female staff, we’ve made some important changes. We’ve eliminated break shifts, ensuring flexibility for our team members. Our free pick-up and drop services prioritize their safety and well-being. Additionally, for our single Lady Travellers, we offer complimentary laundry, Pick up and drop and 24/7 breakfast, making sure they feel supported during their stay with us.

Just like this, we are now reaching new and greater heights in women empowerment by supporting Goldy Mishra – a young and powerful woman, a skilled sportsperson and mountaineer to reach the heights of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania Africa.

Roseate is set to be the first hotel brand to reach the top of the world, as we anticipate Goldy hoisting our flag on the highest mountain of Africa, and the highest free-standing mountain above sea level in the entire world. This initiative reflects our dedication not only to personal growth but also to inspiring all individuals to push boundaries and realize their aspirations.

At Roseate Hotels and Resorts, our commitment to women empowerment is at the forefront of our mission. We believe in fostering a culture that supports the incredible women within our organization. Thank you for your support as we embark on this inspiring journey together.”
