The warm sea breeze, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and the aroma of spicy and tangy food – all of these epitomize the spirit of Goa. Hilton Goa Resort, in association with The Goan Culinary Club, is all set to revive the lost recipes of Goan cuisine with the return of the Goenchem Festival 2023. This celebration of vibrant culture and rich culinary heritage is slated to take place on April 29, 2023, from 5 pm onwards, at the Grand Ballroom and Banyan Lawns of the Hilton Goa Resort.

Hilton Goa Resort is proud to bring back this festival with the aim of showcasing the forgotten treasures and family recipes that have been passed down through generations of Goan chefs. The festival promises to be bigger and better than before, with a focus on authentic Goan cuisine and delicacies along with native cultural performances that include folk songs, dances and exciting games.

The Goenchem Festival 2023, a celebration of vibrant culture and gastronomic adventure, will feature 15 stations by the most popular F&B outlets and hotels in Goa. Each of these counters will be serving an array of mouth-watering Goan delicacies that will transport you to a culinary paradise. From the crispy and savory fish fritters (Fofos de peixe) to the succulent pork and clams (Porco Alejanto) and beef croquettes, the festival will showcase the long lost recipes of Goa that have been preserved by expert Goan home chefs and members of The Goan Culinary Club.

That’s not all, the festival menu will also feature sweet treats like Bolo san Rival, Pineapple Sansav, and Dedos de dama, which will be made on-site to provide a fresh and authentic taste.

To add a zing to the palate, visitors can also relish Tarlyache Amotik, a sour and spicy tamarind- based curry, and Bibe, a rich and delicious Goan pudding.

Commenting on the occasion, the General Manager of Hilton Goa Resort, Amandeep Grover, said, “At Hilton Goa Resort, we take pride in our commitment to preserving the local food and culture of Goa. The Goenchem Festival 2023 is a celebration of the rich culinary heritage of Goa, and we are excited to showcase authentic Goan cuisine with the support of The Goan Culinary Club and our local partners. We will make this year’s festival an unforgettable experience for everyone.”

The festival is not just about food, visitors to the Goenchem Festival 2023 can also immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of the state, with live folk music and dance performances, a fashion show, interactive games, and activities in the Grand Ballroom of Hilton Goa Resort.

To  make the event even more exciting, the festival is partnering with some of the best hotels and brands, including The Fern Kadamba, The Fisherman’s Wharf, Maai, LemonTree Hotels, Jambul, Vaum, Karma Kitchen, Love CH7, Yaki Zushi, Modern Hospitality Consultants, and Moyo, among others.

With a nominal fee of INR 699 (inclusive of taxes) for entry, visitors can savor the authentic flavors of Goa and indulge in a gastronomic adventure like never before. The Goenchem Festival 2023 is an event anticipated in all of Goa, so mark your calendars and get ready to join us at the Hilton Goa Resort on April 29, 2023, for an experience you won’t forget.
