This monsoon, Noida has got its brand new cafe that promises to take you on a journey down memory lane.
What a joyful journey it was stepping into the Attendance Sheet Café, located in Noida’s Sector 62! The brainchild of Ashish Pandey, Director and Co-Founder of BuyBuy Cart and his journalist wife, this uniquely themed café instantly transports you back to your school days, combining nostalgia and a delicious menu in a single unforgettable experience.
Ashish shared how the idea took shape: after many sleepless nights of brainstorming and trial, it was his wife who helped him land on the perfect theme. They wanted to create something extraordinary—something everyone could instantly relate to. The result? A café that warmly embraces the “Back to School” spirit, paying homage to simpler times with a creative twist.
On my visit, Ashish personally gave me a tour, his passion shining through in every detail. The menu calls itself the “Examination Sheet,” and, true to the name, every order is marked by “roll numbers” assigned to tables. The walls boast blackboards scribbled with doodles, and group photo boards filled with snapshots from cheerful school memories. There’s even a Science Lab corner, where guests can channel their inner geeks—just like recess time! A thoughtful highlight is the “Thought of the Day” board, inviting visitors to share their own memories or reviews.
Ashish is deeply committed to making the space better with every visit, regularly transforming the décor based on suggestions from guests and friends. The café is always in flux, just like the best moments from our school days—never dull, always evolving!
The menu, of course, adds to the magic. Imagine biting into piping hot Cheese Maggi, steaming momos, cheesy pizza, and slurping cold coffee—the flavours are pure nostalgia, evoking school canteen memories with every bite. Whether you’re a lively student or a grown-up looking for a time machine, this place hits just the right note.
Attendance Sheet Café isn’t just a standalone gem either—both the co-founders of BuyBuyCart Ashish Pandey and Sumit Kumar are already working on expansion plans for more “Back to School” cafes across Delhi NCR, each one beside a BuyBuy supermarket.
