Radisson Blu Greater Noida successfully hosted the largest edition to date of its annual cyclothon, “Pedal For Tomorrow,” on 6th June 2026, bringing together cycling enthusiasts, fitness communities, corporates, families, and sustainability advocates for a morning dedicated to wellness, responsible living, and community engagement.

Organised as part of Radisson Hotel Group’s global June Action Month initiative, themed “One Month, Many Actions,” the event continues to serve as a platform for encouraging sustainable mobility while promoting healthier lifestyles and environmental awareness.

The cyclothon was flagged off by Kiran Kanojia, renowned Indian para-athlete popularly known as “India’s Blade Runner,” and Meenu and S. S. Banga, widely recognised as the “Tree Man of Faridabad” and owner of Victora Hospitalities Private Limited. Their presence added significance to the event’s core message of resilience, sustainability, and positive community action.

This year’s edition witnessed an overwhelming response from the cycling community, with over 700 registrations received within just three days of opening registrations, making it the most successful edition of the event since its inception. Participants travelled from across the Delhi-NCR region, including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Gurugram, and Faridabad, demonstrating how cycling continues to unite communities while reinforcing its value as a healthy and sustainable mode of transportation.

Covering a distance of 10 kilometres, participants rode through Greater Noida in support of a healthier and greener future. The event attracted riders from diverse age groups and backgrounds, including seasoned cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, families, students, and corporate teams, reflecting the growing awareness and enthusiasm for sustainable mobility across the region.

The event served as a true showcase of community collaboration and collective action. Radisson Blu Greater Noida received invaluable support from local authorities and partner organisations, including the Traffic Police, Kailash Hospital, GreenCity Hospital, Decathlon Greater Noida, Anytime Fitness Greater Noida, and beverage partner CaraKara. Their contribution played a vital role in ensuring a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all participants.

The ride commenced early morning from the hotel premises amidst high energy and excitement as cyclists gathered to support the cause. The enthusiastic participation and positive spirit throughout the event reinforced its objective of creating meaningful conversations around wellness, sustainability, and responsible living.

Speaking about the successful initiative, Anirban Sarkar, General Manager, Radisson Blu Greater Noida, said: “We are delighted to host the largest edition of Pedal For Tomorrow since its inception. Receiving over 700 registrations within three days and welcoming participants from across Delhi-NCR is a testament to the growing awareness around sustainability, fitness, and responsible living. What began as a local initiative has evolved into a community movement, and we are grateful to our partners, authorities, and participants who continue to support this journey year after year. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire collective action while creating meaningful community engagement.”

To ensure a safe and seamless experience, the event was supported by comprehensive on-ground safety measures, route management, hydration support, and medical assistance. Following the ride, participants were welcomed back to the hotel for a specially curated healthy breakfast experience, along with interactive engagement activities and partner-led experiences.

Adding a meaningful social impact dimension to the initiative, Radisson Blu Greater Noida, in association with S. S. Banga and SocioNet Foundation, donated two bicycles to deserving students from Diamond Drill School, Kasna. The bicycle donation ceremony underscored the event’s commitment to community development and supporting access to education, demonstrating how collective action can create a positive impact beyond the event itself.

Sharing her experience, participant Renu Malhotra said: “Participating in ‘Pedal For Tomorrow’ was truly a wonderful experience. It was inspiring to see so many people come together early in the morning for a cause that promotes both fitness and sustainability. Radisson Blu Greater Noida has created a meaningful community initiative that not only encourages healthy living but also spreads awareness about responsible and eco-friendly lifestyles. The energy, hospitality, and overall experience were extremely motivating.”

The success of the fifth edition reaffirms the growing momentum behind community-led sustainability initiatives and highlights the role hospitality brands can play in creating positive social impact beyond their hotel walls.

Over the years, “Pedal For Tomorrow” has evolved into one of the flagship wellness and sustainability initiatives of Radisson Blu Greater Noida, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to responsible hospitality and impactful community engagement.

Beyond promoting fitness and sustainable mobility, this year’s edition also highlighted the importance of giving back to the community through meaningful initiatives that create lasting impact. Through wellness-driven events, environmental awareness campaigns, and community outreach efforts, Radisson Blu Greater Noida continues to strengthen its commitment to responsible hospitality and positive social change.

Through initiatives such as these, Radisson Blu Greater Noida continues to inspire collective action towards healthier lifestyles, environmental stewardship, and stronger community participation—proving that even a simple ride can help drive meaningful change for tomorrow.
