In observance of World Thalassemia Day, Radisson Blu Greater Noida hosted a special day of compassion and awareness through two impactful initiatives — a joyful fiesta for children living with thalassemia and a blood donation camp organized in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society.

Held in association with FAT (Fight Against Thalassemia), the event welcomed children and their families for an afternoon filled with laughter, games, and meaningful interaction with hotel staff. This was followed by a voluntary blood donation camp, where guests, staff members, and local patrons came together to donate blood — a lifeline for thalassemia patients who require regular transfusions.

“Our commitment to the community goes beyond hospitality,” said Anirban Sarkar, General Manager, Radisson Blu Greater Noida. “Today was about celebrating the resilience of these brave young children and supporting the tireless efforts of organizations like FAT and the Indian Red Cross Society. It’s humbling to play a small part in such a big cause.”

The event also served as an opportunity to raise awareness about thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder that affects thousands of children across India. With music, storytelling, treats, and thoughtful gifts, the hotel’s team ensured that every child went home with a smile.

Radisson Blu Greater Noida continues its commitment to social responsibility through community engagement, health initiatives, and inclusive events that reflect its belief in “Hospitality with Heart.”
