Pour Over Coffee Roasters has introduced its exclusive Colombian Collection in India, featuring distinctive lots from Colombia’s renowned coffee-growing regions. The collection celebrates the evolution of Colombian coffee production, bringing together rare varietals, innovative processing techniques and the stories of producers who are redefining the world of specialty coffee.

The collection features exceptional coffees from Huila, a region globally recognised for its outstanding coffee quality, biodiversity and innovation. Among the highlights is the Papayo Natural, one of the world’s rarest coffee varieties, with an impressive SCA cup score of 87. Papayo Natural offers notes of mango, pineapple, tropical fruits and berries, complemented by a juicy, silky body and bright acidity. It is known for its vibrant and expressive profile. The variety gained international recognition after being selected by a World Barista Champion for the competition stage.

The Colombian Blend Natural, scoring 86 points on the SCA scale, delivers a complex cup layered with red fruits, cacao and wine-like sweetness, finishing smooth and rounded. The collection also includes the Indo-Colombian Blend, which brings together premium Indian and Colombian Arabicas, balancing tropical fruit brightness with rich cacao and berry notes to create a complex yet approachable coffee experience.

Speaking about the launch, Ritika Sharma, Founder, Pour Over Coffee Roasters said, “At Pour Over, we have always believed that great coffee begins long before it reaches the roastery. It begins on farms, in conversations, in relationships and in the exchange of knowledge between the people who grow coffee and the people who serve it. Our Colombian Collection is the result of that belief. Rather than sourcing coffee through catalogues and intermediaries, we spent time with producers, understood processing techniques and immersed ourselves in one of the world’s most influential coffee cultures. What we discovered was more than exceptional coffee. We discovered producers pushing the boundaries of fermentation and processing, generations of farming knowledge and a culture that treats coffee not simply as a commodity, but as a craft. Every lot in this collection was selected because it represented something unique: a producer, a process, a variety or a story worth sharing. Our intention is to bring a piece of Colombia’s coffee culture to our community in India. This launch is not about importing coffee from another country. It is about building a bridge between origin and cup, between producer and consumer, and between Colombia and India. We wanted to go beyond traceability and direct trade, and create a deeper connection through coffee.”

Sharing insights into the coffees in the collection, Aditya Sharma, Pour Over Coffee Roasters, said, “Our collection includes distinctive Colombian lots, including the highly expressive Papayo Natural and Colombian Blend Natural, sourced from Huila, a region recognised globally for its exceptional coffee quality and innovation. Papayo Natural is one of the world’s rarest varieties, with an SCA cup score of 87. It bursts with vibrant notes of mango, pineapple, tropical fruits and berries, offering a juicy, silky body with bright acidity. Papayo gained global recognition after being chosen by a World Barista Champion on the competition stage. The Colombian Blend Natural, with an 86 cup score, delivers an expressive cup layered with red fruits, cacao and wine-like sweetness, finishing smooth and rounded. Our Indo-Colombian Blend brings together the best of Indian and Colombian Arabicas, balancing tropical fruit brightness with rich cacao and berry notes for a complex yet exceptionally approachable cup. These coffees showcase the new generation of Colombian coffee production experimental, fruit-forward, meticulously processed and deeply connected to their terroir. These are coffees selected by roasters, learned from producers and returned with a commitment to share that knowledge with the community we serve. This launch celebrates that connection, a celebration of producers and roasters, of Colombia and India, and of learning, sharing and building bridges through coffee. This is not simply a new coffee release. This is what Colombia taught us.”

With this collection, Pour Over Coffee Roasters aims to introduce Indian coffee enthusiasts to the new wave of Colombian specialty coffee blending innovation with tradition.

They are available for a very limited time at all Pour Over outlets across Khan Market, Santushti Complex Chanakyapuri, Noida and  McLeodganj.
