Pour Over Coffee Roasters (POCR) has opened its newest café at Santushti Complex, Chanakyapuri, further strengthening its presence in New Delhi’s evolving coffee landscape. Known for its focus on conscious sourcing, precision brewing and community-driven spaces, the Santushti outlet reflects the brand’s philosophy of intentional coffee and meaningful conversations.

The café spans a thoughtfully designed space with 45 covers, offering amphitheatre-style seating, lounge and comfortable chair seating, making it ideal for both quick coffee breaks, leisurely sit-downs and community events. The outlet is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Founded by siblings Ritika Sharma and Aditya Sharma, Pour Over Coffee Roasters was created to bridge the gap between specialty coffee and everyday accessibility. Aditya Sharma, an SCA-certified and Italian Barista Method–certified coffee professional trained in Florence, leads the brand’s coffee programme, bringing global standards and technical expertise to every cup.

At the heart of POCR’s offering is a strong emphasis on ethical sourcing and traceability. The brand works closely with coffee producers and estates that follow sustainable cultivation and post-harvest practices. POCR currently sources 100% Arabica, single-origin beans from high-altitude estates in Chikmagalur, Coorg and Sikkim, while also introducing international beans from regions such as Ethiopia, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica and Indonesia. All coffees are micro-lot roasted in small batches, with close attention to climate-controlled storage and precise extraction standards to ensure consistency and clarity in flavour.

The Santushti outlet offers a wide range of manual and espresso-based coffees, including Pour-Overs, Aeropress, Vietnamese Phin, and slow-steeped cold brews, alongside signature espresso drinks. From brewing syphon to carefully simmered Pour Over, to the most complex and smooth Bullet, a PO special that has a hint of butter in it, each coffee is prepared with precision.

Each cup is brewed with a focus on balance, aroma and texture, allowing the natural characteristics of the beans to shine without over-complication.  True to their style coffee is served in a handleless cup, with a palate cleanser and a Know Your Coffee (KYC) Card.

“From sourcing to cup, each stage is consciously driven, keeping global marketplace value in mind, its impact to livelihood and coffee innovation, yet removing the fluff and providing authentic, honest and seriously brewed coffee, accessible by everyone! We have got it all from Pour Over to Aeropress. Our brewing culture is simple, come over to our café and enjoy your cup brewed to precision from temperature to ratio, or request for beans ground to your size and choice of house blends, we make sure you get freshly ground beans at your door,” explains Aditya Sharma, co-founder of POCR.

The coffee menu is complemented by café-style food, small plates, and baked offerings designed to pair seamlessly with the brews.

The brand’s journey began in Malviya Nagar with a store-in-store concept featuring a live roastery, followed by its flagship two-level outlet, offering coffee, cocktails and food at Khan Market, an iconic location that established POCR as a serious name in Delhi’s coffee culture. The Santushti outlet represents the brand’s café-style format—intimate, approachable and rooted in everyday ritual. “We chose Santushti Complex for its distinctive blend of heritage, culture and global energy. A long-standing cultural hub in Chanakyapuri, the complex attracts a diverse audience—from diplomats and expats to artists, professionals and students—making it a natural fit for Pour Over’s inclusive and community-first approach,” explains Ritika Sharma, co-founder of POCR.

Pour Over Coffee Roasters also places strong emphasis on sustainability. The brand invests in energy-efficient roasting technology, uses biodegradable packaging across retail and B2B formats, sources ingredients locally where possible, and is exploring the upcycling of spent coffee grounds for environmentally responsible applications.

With its Santushti launch, Pour Over continues to expand thoughtfully, staying true to its core values of honest coffee, skilled craftsmanship, and spaces designed to bring people together.
