Hotelogix announced that Playotel Hotels in India has upgraded to its cloud-based multi-property management system. With this strategic transition to Hotelogix, Playotel Hotels is now equipped to oversee operations across the portfolio with centralised control from its head office, while preparing for future expansion by adding new properties with Hotelogix’s robust, scalable platform.
This move reflects a broader shift in India’s hospitality landscape, where a new generation of mid-market hotel chains are adopting enterprise-grade technology early in their growth journey to enable centralised control, faster expansion, and improved operational efficiency.
Playotel Hotels represents a new wave of design-led, tech-forward hospitality brands in India. With a growing presence across key cities including Indore, Guna, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Kasauli, and Ujjain, the group is building a strong multi-city footprint catering to modern business and leisure travellers. As part of its expansion plans, Playotel is focused on scaling rapidly to a 50+ brand group while maintaining consistency in guest experience and operational performance.
As part of its growth journey, Playotel Hotels sought to upgrade to a modern, cloud-based platform that could deliver centralised control across properties while driving operational efficiencies through end-to-end automation. A key requirement was the ability to seamlessly integrate with third-party applications used across departments—from distribution and revenue management to finance and guest services.
With Hotelogix, Playotel now operates on a unified platform that enables centralised reservations, real-time inventory visibility, and integration with its wider technology ecosystem. The built-in Central Reservation Office (CRO) allows the group to manage bookings across properties from a central call centre, while reporting and analytics support data-driven decision-making. The platform also enables dynamic pricing strategies across varying demand cycles.
