To elevate Jordan’s strategic appeal as a cultural and business travel hub, Plan B Tourism, Jordan and Royal Jordanian Airlines along with Red Dot Representations, India, recently hosted a dedicated Familiarisation (FAM) Trip for the Indian travel trade fraternity Professionals from the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, between September 15 and 19, 2025.

The five-day journey enabled the professionals to experience Jordan’s signature travel offerings through a thoughtfully designed itinerary. It featured a blend of cultural heritage and new-age hospitality infrastructure. They were hosted at Jordan’s top hotels, enjoyed exclusive networking, and experienced signature MICE offerings, all accompanied by warm Jordanian hospitality.

Speaking on the FAM Trip, Rana Abu Alhala, CEO of Plan B Travel & Tourism, voiced, “We are delighted to have hosted the Indian travel trade professionals on this immersive FAM trip in partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines. The Indian market holds immense potential from both leisure and business travel perspectives. Through this initiative, we aimed at presenting Jordan’s healthy mix of rich heritage, warm hospitality, and future-ready MICE infrastructure, which elevates it as a strong contender among global Leisure and MICE destinations.”

Franco John, Deputy General Manager, Red Dot Representations, said, “India’s outbound travel segment has risen monumentally and overseas destinations that offer both cultural immersion and new-age events infrastructure are witnessing high demand from Indian corporates as well as the leisure traveller market. This FAM trip will bring Jordan’s diverse offerings nearer to Indian travellers. We at Red Dot aim to bolster Jordan’s popularity among Indians in the coming months.”

Anju Wariah, Director STIC Group and Local Spokesperson of Royal Jordanian Airlines, said, “Ease of connectivity defines the growth of a destination, and we are elated to receive the opportunity to partner with Plan B Tourism Jordan to host this FAM trip. At the Royal Jordanian Airlines, we aim to strengthen our presence in the Indian market, easing seamless travel to Jordan.”

The success of the FAM trip was led by the continuous support of key partners, including STIC Group – the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Royal Jordanian Airlines, Tamarind Global, Thomas Cook, SOTC, Yatra, Trip Navigator, Even Trip, Axplore, MotherSon Travels, and Travel Sukham. The initiative was further cemented by Plan B Tourism Jordan’s India office’s tireless efforts, represented by Red Dot Representations, ensuring sensorial engagement at every touchpoint for the visiting Indian travel trade professionals.
