Paper & Pie makes a new home in HSR Layout, as part of Ink & Oak’s newest Experiential Bookstore, opposite the beautiful Sector 4 Park. Since launching in Indiranagar in 2022, Paper has expanded steadily and smartly, with additional outlets in Whitefield and Bellandur. This fourth outlet marks the return to form as a friendly neighbourhood cafe, and a space where people can just be, while enjoying an array of coffees and freshly prepared food.

The decision to join hands with Ink & Oak was intentionally to recreate the lost nostalgia of bookstore cafes, aiming to bring back lazy afternoons spent reading and sipping. This collaboration is designed to blend the comforting aroma of coffee with the quiet charm of bookshelves, creating a space where guests can slow down, disconnect from the rush, and rediscover the joy of reading. By reviving this timeless concept, the partnership seeks to build a community around stories, conversations, and coffee – an inviting haven for dreamers, thinkers, and casual wanderers alike. Paper & Pie continues to provide freshly prepared food as well, with offerings ranging from Indian favourites to global hits from Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East. In addition to gourmet fare, the cafe also offers freshly baked croissants, pies, brownies and more to pair with their award-winning coffee, sourced from the foothills of Chikmangalur.

Sandeep Nagaiah and Vamsi Mareddy, Co-Founders of Paper & Pie, shared their thoughts on the opening: “Our 4th outlet signifies something very special to us; it is far more than a collaboration between two like-minded brands – it is the creation of a welcoming haven in this young neighbourhood for everyone. We want the community to feel truly at home, whether it is youngsters looking for a vibrant space to work or breathe, or older residents who have chosen this quiet neighbourhood for a slower pace of life. We have designed our cafe space to speak to both, somewhere where different walks of life intersect over coffee, or a great book.”

As the coffee industry and the concept of what an Indian cafe continue to evolve, Paper and Pie Café remains at the forefront. With unwavering dedication to quality and innovation, the brand has been a catalyst for positive change within the industry, exemplifying excellence.
