A Journey Down the Pakhtun Trail at The Great Kabab Factory
As they it is always much more difficult to meet high expectations and sustain quality than to launch a new brand, specially in the FnB or the Hospitality industry. The Great Kabab Factory has been doing just that over the past two decades. And it was indeed exciting to anticipate the day’s culinary adventure with Kabab’s world at its ‘epicenter’ at The Great Kabab Factory at Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi.
Upon entering the prestigious restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the staff at The Great Kabab Factory, who emanated warm smiles and displayed polite gestures. This initial interaction instantly put me at ease and set the tone for a truly enchanting dining experience.

What truly set The Great Kabab Factory apart was its remarkable legacy of exceptional food quality, spanning an astonishing 25 years. This unwavering dedication to excellence was palpable in every facet of my experience, from the impeccable service to the exquisite presentation of the dishes. Now, let us shift our focus to the pièce de résistance of the evening – the food. The Great Kabab Factory was renowned for its delectable and high-quality kababs and mutton dishes. On this particular occasion, they were hosting the Pakhtun Trail Food Festival, which promised to take me on an extraordinary gastronomic adventure through the rich and diverse flavors of Pakhtun cuisine.
The menu boasted a wide array of kababs prepared in seven different styles, each offering a unique and tantalizing taste sensation. Whether they were roasted in traditional tandoor ovens or singhri grills, shallow-fried on tawas or mahi tawas, deep-fried in kadhai pots, steamed to perfection, or grilled on hot stones, every kabab was a testament to culinary artistry. Bursting with aromatic spices and flawlessly cooked, each morsel was a masterpiece in its own right. Noteworthy dishes such as the Gosht Chapli Kabab, Sindhi Fish Fry, and Khyberi Shami Kabab left my taste buds dancing with delight.
Moving on to the main course, I discovered a symphony of flavors that perfectly showcased the authenticity of Pakhtun cuisine. From the tantalizing Lahori Chatpata Mirchi Tawa Chicken to the exquisite Balochistani Murg Yakhni Pulao, every dish captivated my senses. The culinary expertise of the chefs was on full display, as they skillfully transformed simple ingredients into gastronomic delights. Even vegetarian options, such as the Peshawari Subz Chapli Kabab and Jalalabadi Mushroom Tikka, were thoughtfully crafted to cater to all tastes.
To conclude our dining experience, we were treated to a divine selection of indulgent sweets. The Lab-e-Shireen, Khoya Siwaiyan, and Karachi Shahi Tukda were just a few of the heavenly treats that left us with a sweet and satiating end to our gastronomic journey.
I must also commend the exceptional staff at The Great Kabab Factory, whose impeccable service was simply unparalleled. Attending to our every need with grace and attentiveness, they truly elevated our dining experience.
