Olive Café & Bar Kolkata unveils its all-new Winter Menu and Cocktail Bar, celebrating the season through flavour, comfort and craftsmanship. The Mediterranean-inspired space, with its whitewashed walls, lush courtyard and timeless warmth, invites guests to savour the joy of the season in true Olive style – with good food, handcrafted cocktails and the easy charm of togetherness.

Curated by Chef Jyotika Malik, the new Winter Menu is a celebration of fresh produce, seasonal flavours and the elegance of comfort on a plate. Guests can begin their meal with comforting bowls of Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, a creamy blend of roasted squash and thyme, or Mushroom Cappuccino, a smooth mix of button and porcini mushrooms. The Baked Brie, slow-baked with herbs and honey and served with fig jam and crostini, makes for the perfect winter indulgence. The Roasted Sweet Potato with avocado, feta and cranberries adds a wholesome touch, while the Table-side Guacamole, prepared fresh at the table, brings Olive’s signature playfulness to the experience.

The menu continues with Olive’s much-loved Espetadas, skewered grills inspired by coastal Mediterranean cooking. Choices include the Calabrian Chilli & Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken, Chermoula Fish, and Halloumi & Pineapple, each grilled to perfection and paired with vibrant sides. For those seeking heartier plates, highlights include the Moroccan Tagine, the delicate Pithivier layered with spinach and ricotta, the Ginger Salmon, and the tender New Zealand Lamb Chops. Olive’s handmade pasta selection continues to be a favourite, featuring dishes such as the Pumpkin & Poppy Seed Agnolotti, Wild Mushroom Gnocchi, and Lobster Linguini, each prepared with warmth and precision.

Desserts at Olive remain irresistible, from the molten Chocolate Fondant and the delicate Fig Mille Feuille to the classic Tiramisu – The Italian Picnic, a beloved Olive signature that ends every meal on a note of joy.

Speaking about the new menu, Chef Jyotika Malik says, “The winter menu celebrates balance and simplicity – a return to comforting, soulful food that feels both familiar and refreshing. It’s about sharing, connecting and enjoying honest flavours that bring warmth to the heart.”

At the bar, Lead Mixologist Harish Chhimwal introduces a reimagined Cocktail Menu, inspired by Kolkata’s vibrant character and Olive’s coastal spirit. The program focuses on sustainability, creativity and locally inspired flavours, with cocktails crafted to surprise and delight. The Yellow Taxi captures the city’s rhythm with pineapple-infused tequila, mezcal and coco-pepper tonic. Mishti Joy pays homage to Bengal’s favourite mishti doi with cream-washed vodka and coco-jaggery vermouth, while Fire Cracker reimagines Kolkata’s iconic jhal muri in a spirited blend of peanut fat-washed whiskey, muri mix lager and chilli syrup. Tolly Gunge is a decadent, dessert-style cocktail with ghee-washed rum and rice syrup, and the Hoogly Ho! Gimlet brings together gin, green mango and gondhoraj cordial in an ode to aam kasundi.

Harish adds, “Our new bar menu is about creating cocktails that tell a story – rooted in sustainability, yet full of personality. Every drink draws inspiration from the flavours, culture and warmth of Kolkata while reflecting Olive’s craftsmanship.”

Designed by Sabina Singh and Vivek Popli, the space continues to radiate Olive’s signature beauty – the sun-dappled courtyard framed by bougainvillea, the verandah that glows by candlelight, and interiors that seamlessly blend Mediterranean calm with the city’s creative soul. Whether it’s a long, sunlit brunch, an intimate dinner, or an evening of cocktails under the stars, Olive Café & Bar Kolkata is a space where time slows down and every moment feels special.

AD Singh, Founder & Managing Director, The Olive Group of Restaurants, says, “Olive has always been about creating experiences that feel personal, warm and full of life. With the new winter menu and cocktail bar, we’re inviting Kolkata to enjoy the season the Olive way – with food that comforts, drinks that inspire and the company of people you love.”

This winter, Olive Café & Bar Kolkata invites guests to experience a season of warmth, indulgence and effortless joy – through food that comforts, cocktails that inspire, and an atmosphere that feels like home.
