The event has been very popular among Delhiites who come in large numbers to enjoy cuisines from various states in the chilling Delhi winter along with various music and cultural programmes performed by renowned artists from across the country.
The food stalls will be positioned according to the North East West and South zones to make it easier for the visitors to choose and relish the diverse and contrasting tastes of Indian foods. This year @rahulram from the @AisiTaisiDemocracy will be performing on the 15th of January along with other programs from various artists. The 12th National food festival will also have various interesting competitions, panel discussions and interactive events on all three days. More than 120 stalls from 23 different states promise to satiate your taste buds.
“The idea of hosting the festival has always been to promote ..street vendors. It is also an attempt to create a culture of ..street food loyalty among citizens,” said Arbind Singh, National Association of Street Vendors in India (Nasvi) at a Press conference. He has also shared with the press that every vendor has been well-trained to ensure safety and hygiene during the festival.
