Monkey Bar is bringing back the flavours of childhood with its limited-edition Back to School menu. Available throughout June, the special menu celebrates nostalgia through familiar street snacks and timeless cocktails, inviting guests to revisit simpler days spent with friends over after-school treats and easy conversations.

Built around the theme of going back to basics, the menu draws inspiration from the snacks and drinks that have stood the test of time. Curated by Monkey Bar founders Nikhil and Tushar alongside Chef Clyde, the experience is designed to evoke memories of school days, neighbourhood hangouts, and carefree afternoons.

The food menu shines a spotlight on beloved Indian street-side favourites. Guests can snack on crisp cucumber slices sprinkled with chaat masala and lime, tangy raw mango dusted with chilli and black salt, whole guava seasoned with classic street-style spices, and Kolkata’s iconic Jhalmuri tossed with fresh vegetables, peanuts, mustard oil, and bold local flavours. Familiar, unfussy, and packed with nostalgia, these are the snacks many grew up sharing with friends outside school gates.

The cocktail menu takes a similar approach, returning to the classics that shaped drinking culture around the world. Featuring favourites such as the Manhattan, Mojito, Gimlet, Clover Club, Piña Colada, Caipiroska, Tequila Sunrise, Blue Lagoon and more, the line-up celebrates timeless cocktails that continue to define bar menus across generations. Served without reinvention or complication, the drinks are a reminder that some classics never go out of style.

Bringing together nostalgic flavours, iconic cocktails, and Monkey Bar’s signature easy-going atmosphere, the Back to School menu is a celebration of the memories, moments, and friendships that make growing up unforgettable. Designed for leisurely afternoons, catch-ups with old friends, and reliving favourite rituals, the limited-edition menu captures the spirit of the good old days in true Monkey Bar style.
