MBD Group announces the appointment of Shayantan Sinha as AVP, Business Development. Sinha brings 18 years of experience in business development, corporate leasing, and hospitality to the team. He has a reputation for building a culture of excellence, driving initiatives to fuel lead generation and meaningful conversion and developing key stakeholder relationships.
Sinha is a high-impact strategist and a take-charge frontrunner. His career has been marked by success in evolving path-breaking client acquisition, business development, corporate leasing, customer experience and hospitality initiatives. Before joining the MBD Group, Sinha built an extensive career in hospitality and real estate, most recently serving as General Manager – Business Development, Hospitality & Customer Experience at Bharti Real Estate, Worldmark, Aerocity, where he spearheaded the Business Development of Bharti Real Estate’s offices portfolio and strengthened corporate relationships.
His professional journey also includes pivotal roles such as Deputy General Manager – Business Development, Corporate Leasing & Corporate Client Experience at DLF Ltd., Deputy General Manager and Associate General Manager – Customer Experience at Lodha Group, and Senior Manager – Guest Relations & Brand Standards at Specialty Restaurants Limited. Early in his career, he developed his foundational hospitality expertise with ITC Hotels/Starwood Hotels, holding various key Managerial positions in Front Office at ITC Windsor, Bengaluru, Assistant Front Office Manager at ITC Maurya, New Delhi and Pre-Opening Manager at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru.
Sinha is a graduate of The Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal, Karnataka, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Hotel Management in 2007. He also completed the Hotel Executive Training Program at Welcomgroup Management Institute, ITC Hotels Ltd., in 2009.
In his new role, Sinha will be responsible for driving Hotel Expansion, Business Development, Hospitality, and Customer Experience. Outside the boardroom, he is a passionate fitness enthusiast.
