Madhya Pradesh Wins Top Awards for Tourism Promotion
Mumbai, February 4, 2025: Madhya Pradesh has once again been honoured for its outstanding efforts in promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant festivals. At the 8th Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Awards 2025 held on 31st January 2025 (Friday) at Hotel Meluha The Fern Powai Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh received the Best State Award for Promoting Festivals and Fairs Awards.
Principal Secretary Tourism, Culture and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla said the festivals and fairs of Madhya Pradesh are not merely events they are celebrations of our history, traditions, and the spirit of our people. We are committed to continuing our efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a leading cultural and spiritual destination in the world.
The award for ‘Best State Promoting Fairs & Festivals’ was received by MP Tourism Board for the promotion of cultural festivals like the Khajuraho Dance Festival, Tansen Samaroh, Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet Samaroh, Lokrang Festival, Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh, as well as destination promotional festivals in Gandhi Sagar, Chanderi with luxury tent cities. Today’s Traveller Summit & Awards are renowned for recognizing excellence in the travel and tourism industry. And the award for ‘Best State for Publicity & Promotion’ for recognising the effectiveness of publicity and PR campaigns, excellence in media, creativity and technology and outstanding performance in PR, corporate communications, media management and marketing communications.
