Luxuria by Moustache has announced the launch of JANGALAT, a new luxury jungle resort in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. The upcoming property is planned as a low-density, private retreat built keeping in mind open space, nature and wellness. Moustache Group of Hotels marks its entry into one of India’s most in-demand wildlife destinations with this launch.

Ranthambore National Park has experienced a record-breaking tourism surge in recent years, with over 7.27 lakh total visitors reported in the 2024-2025 season, comprising 5.29 lakh domestic and 1.97 lakh international tourists[1]. The months from October to March see the most visitors, as this is the main season for tiger sightings. Its proximity to Jaipur makes it a popular extension of the Golden Triangle circuit, attracting both international travellers and high-net-worth domestic tourists. Over time, Ranthambore has become a leading destination for luxury wildlife tourism.

JANGALAT is being developed with a clear philosophy. The focus is on privacy, open spaces and thoughtful planning. The layout is low-density, with open areas and carefully planned zones that prevent crowding and maintain the character of the land. The idea is to create a private, immersive luxury experience where guests feel connected to nature rather than separated from it.

A key highlight of the property will be a 300 mtr long river feature running through the resort, with boating experience and rooms positioned to engage closely with the water. The master plan also includes dedicated experience zones such as machan-style viewing towers inspired by traditional jungle watchtowers, a beach-style bar with water-facing seating, landscaped island zones, a large central pool with a kids pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam, and open gardens designed for quiet relaxation.

Speaking about the property, Abhishek Khandelwal, Co-Founder and Director, said, “The resort also has a wellness philosophy and will offer spa therapies, yoga and meditation decks, as well as spaces designed for slow living and digital detox. Cultural evenings, bird-watching points, sunset towers, and stargazing areas are integrated into the property to encourage guests to spend time outdoors”

With limited premium supply in Ranthambore due to strict development norms, the destination continues to attract travellers looking for exclusive, and experience led stays. Through JANGALAT, Luxuria by Moustache aims to offer a private retreat aligned with nature that blends comfort with the raw beauty of the jungle for its customers.

JANGALAT is currently being developed, and it will open soon as part of the Moustache group of hotels’ expanding luxury portfolio.
